Soft light that works
I had purchased another brand that was a couple of bucks more expensive and they broke within 3 mths. These provide much better light and the sensor works very well. I keep one in the kitchen and one in my kids bedroom. Love this product so far, so top marks!
For the most part, I’m not a fan of motion-activated night lights, but instead I want darkness activated lights that turn on when the house gets dark enough… but there are a couple corners in the house where it can be tricky for a guest to find a light switch in the dark, and these night lights are an attractive solution!So the guest bathroom has a light switch in a weird spot. While I have a pale night light by the floor, that just so people don’t trip. It doesn’t illuminate enough to highlight the switch. This cloud night light, however, is motion activated which allows me to: 1) only illuminate the space when someone is in there 2) draw attention to where the light switch is (since it is near the wall plug where this night light is plugged in). It’s made the guest bathroom so much easier to navigate.Additionally, I have a utility closet that is deep in the recess of my home. While you can turn on the hall light, it doesn’t do a great job illuminating down to that corner. Once you get to the utility room, you can turn on its light, but it can feel awkward getting there, because it’s so dark. This motion activated night light just provides that extra bit of glow to bridge the gap to that utility closet and make people feel like they can see.The physical toggle between off/on/auto is reassuring, as you know the device won’t forget its job if the power goes out for a bit and default to off or on when I wanted auto.Lastly, I love that I can adjust the brightness. While the light isn’t glaring, and I think most people would want it on the brightest setting, I like a dimmer light especially when I use the guest bathroom at night. I find it makes it easier to get back to sleep if the light was dim. Whereas in the hallway near the utility closet, I have it on max brightness to make it easier to see. Excellent flexibility with the brightness adjustment!I’m very pleased with these lights!
We put these in the bathroom for nighttime and they’re excellent. They look nice and provide good soft light that won’t shock you fully awake when you get out of bed and come into the bathroom.One thing to note – these claim to have a color temperature of 2700K. I care a lot about color temperature and always pay attention to it. I’m fairly certain that these are actually 3000K. Not a big deal but FYI.

You can put it on the auto, on or off modes too.The light has a pretty nice design, it’s convenient and helpful when you want an ambient asmotphere at night but also need some lighting just in case.The box is special too, you need to tear then pull out the tab to open it, that way you know the item is brand new, nobody opened the box before.Price is reasonable for 2 lights, and LED lights will last for years, it worths the money, I’m very pleased with the purchase and highly recommend.
These night lights work great. I wanted ones that were motion sensor rather than dusk-to-dawn, and also ones that have “normal” light as opposed to colorful light. My apartment is laid out such that I have to walk through the dining room to get to the bedroom, and there’s a light switch only at one end of the dining room, so I frequently found myself lighting my way through my own house at night using my cell phone as a flashlight. It finally occurred to me that I should just get a night light – duh! The fact that this is a two-pack worked out really nicely, as I put one at each end of the dining room and together they illuminate it more than well enough to see everything. The sensors pick up my approach from at least 12 feet away. I keep the light at the brightest level, which suits my needs but is a bit harsh on the eye to look at directly. At the lowest level, the light is quite soft and cozy. If I could make one improvement, it would be to integrate the motion sensor with a light sensor so I didn’t have to turn them off during the day. But for the price, these are excellent, versatile night lights!
The great news is it does everything it says it will do. You get 2 night lights, you can set the brightness level, you can set if they are on all the time or by sensor. The motion sensors are VERY sensitive (except at 180 degrees directly from either side but the advertised range is 120 degrees). Ideally, I would like the lights to ramp on over a few seconds, and ramp down over the last 20 seconds or so, dimming gradually until off. Of course that is not what was advertised, it’s just a feature I would suggest. Overall, these do EXACTLY everything they say they will do. The cloud shape diffuser is cute and does help diffuse the light. Try a pair, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
