Very gentle
Perfect for the newborn dry skin. We didnât want to put anything harsh or fragrant on our sonâs body but his hands, legs and feet were so dry after birth and this was perfect. Applies like Vaseline, no scent and leaves the skin feeling very soft!

Gentle formula
This baby balm is meant for sensitive skin and contains prebiotic ingredients which means it won’t disturb the natural flora and fauna on the skin. The balm is pretty thick but still spreads nicely, you can warm it up a bit to make it spread easier by running the tube under hot water for a minute. There’s no perfumed fragrance, just the natural smell of the ingredients and so far has not irritated the skin and provides a great barrier against chafing
Great product – easy to apply
This is the first time for me using the Aveeno baby line. I find the balm is thick, yet it is still easy to spread onto skinâ¦that is considering that it is a balm. Just trying it on my own skin to see its effect, I find that it does provide some moisturization. For more sensitive newborn skin, this would be good. The formula for adult skin would be different, but for more delicate baby skin, this is good. I like it when products come in a tube format rather than a tub where I would need to dip my finger into itâ¦a tube is much cleaner and easier for application. The scent is very faint which is another good point for those worried about sensitivity to fragrances.
Works really well, bit of a strong odor
This baby balm worked really well. It took one application for it to work for my little one who was a tad be chapped.I liked the texture and the ease of applying it. It’s not super liquidly and almost gel like so it made it easy to apply the right amount and not drench or soak baby.The one thing I didn’t like was the scent. It’s unscented but its actual smell is pretty strong almost like a medicinal smell. The one thing I can say is I did not smell it on baby after applying. It was just when applying the balm.
Gentle moisturizer
This is a great moisturizer, feels thick and leaves my skin really soft afterwards. It is a gentle formula and didn’t irritate the skin on my face at all where I’m typically sensitive, so I think it should be safe for my kids as well. I like that it has ceramides to help protect the skin barrier.
Great Aveeno baby balm.
I love the Aveeno line of products, I’ve been using them for years and it’s a brand I like and trust.I have very sensitive and even their adult products have always worked great for me.So I was confident in using this product that is specifically formulated for newborns who have the most sensitive and delicate skin. Overall great product, I recommend it not only for newborns but for anyone with very sensitive skin.One important thing I want to add is that there’s a protective seal on the end of the cream tube this serves both as a way to prevent accidental dispensing and it’s also a sanitary measure.I can’t count the number of creams I got from Amazon that didn’t have this, there’s no way of knowing if somewhere down the line someone used or touched the product of if something got into put either accidentally or on purpose in the product.
Great for baby
This is a great product: light scent, not greasy and great for sensitive skin. It’s thick, almost like Gylcomed, but not clogging. Would definitely recommend for anyone that has a little one with dry and/or sensitive skin.
