Instant relief!
I have a spot on my leg that sometimes drives me almost crazy because of the severe itchiness. Someone on Facebook mentioned this Aveeno cream so I ordered some. Wow! A little dab of cream massaged into the itchy area and it instantly stops the itching. I am so impressed!
Not for kids under age 12
Bought this for my child with eczema but was disappointed to read once it arrived that it is not for use in kids under age 12. This is written in fine print with the medical ingredients in the Amazon images so itâs easy to miss if you only read the description and don’t zoom into the fine print in the images. Tried it on my own skin which has no eczema. It has a nice consistency and is unscented. Seems to help with itching after a hot shower
Great subsitute for prescription creams
I bought this to try as I had run out of my prescription cream. I was looking for a substitute that would work as well.I was plesantly suprised that this was just as effective.

Lightweight ointment
I prefer the regular Aveeno Eczema lotion as this leaves a film on the skin. It is good for using at night time but I don’t think it’s worth the extra cost.
Cooling and soothing
I found this Aveeno gel to be very cooling and soothing for flare-ups, however it did not provide any relief for my itchy skin. I also found it a little greasy/filmy, even when applying small quantities. I do like how it is both fragrance-free and steroid-free.
Great cream
The gel cream feels great on the skin and it is very gentle. Scent isnât too strong. I would buy it again.

I really like that it is not too greasy and that it keeps me from itching. It is very soothing like almost instantly and you do not need to apply much either. It is a very good cream.
