Super cute, soft silicone, dimmable nightlight
This may just be the cutest axolotl product Iâve ever seen. It was intended for my 7-year-old son, who loves them, but Iâd be lying if I said I didnât consider stealing it for myself.It really is super cute and then the squishy silicone material to turn it on and off, somehow just makes it that much more loveable.Itâs nice that some extra thought has gone into this as a nightlight, with it including two dimmable options; 50% and 100% on, as well as a 20 minute sleep timer so it does not need to be kept on. The lighting on both settings is quite soft; even at 100% itâs not necessarily comfortable to read by, but itâs a perfect nighttime light for settling down in place of a more glaring bright light that just keeps you stimulated.No batteries required. A USB-C charger is included, and fully charged, the battery lasts well. We get a good week at least out of each charge, with the nightlight usually staying on a couple hours each night.My son and I are both very happy with this axolotl nightlight. It serves its purpose very well and provides a very cute nighttime companion at the same time.
Adorable little tap-controlled lamp for axolotl-obsessed kids
I’m not entirely sure what my kids find so endearing about axolotls, but this is the second lamp I’ve had to order to appease them to avoid arguments over the first, and it’s just as adorable. All of these lamps feature a USB-C charged internal battery with an On/off/timer control switch on the bottom, and a silicone shell in the shape of whatever cute creature you like over top. Tapping the silicone adjusts light brightness in stages, while the switch at the bottom allows it to be disabled entirely or activated only on a timer – in this case, 20 minutes. This particular lamp doesn’t get really bright, so it’s more for a soft-glow nightlight than anything like reading. Still, the artistry of the axolotl makes the salamander actually look cute and cuddly, and the silicone shell makes it fairly soft to the touch. Charging out of the box took less than an hour. The shell of this is pink, not white as in the photo, though it gets lighter pink under the bright light setting. Price at time of review is under $25 CAD with a coupon, which is fairly reasonable for this one’s intuitive controls and decent brightness. One note to mention is that it’s fairly sensitive to taps and changes brightness maybe a bit too easily.
Adorable And Great For Axolotl Fans
It’s a cute light. I got it for my daughter, who is obsessed with axolotls. It is super squishy and the material is thick enough I don’t worry about it tearing accidentally. It has two light settings, one dim and one brighter. It can be changed with a little tap or a squeeze. The sensor is pretty sensitive to touch and can even change settings by just setting it down. It has the option of a 20 minute timer as well as just “on”. The light quality is very warm and doesn’t get too bright even on the “brighter” setting. This is great for bedtime routine or if one just wants a little comforting glow. I found the charging port to be a little difficult to reach, but at the same time, seems more secure for the plug and it can’t be bumping or jiggled much. It provides a secure little spot for it to plug in.Very easy to use. Very simple construction. But very adorable and works great.

This product arrived the next day via Amazon Prime and packaged in a simple cardboard box.PROS-Cute! I had a similar kitty lamp which I liked so I ordered this one and I am glad that I did. I much, much prefer this one.-Soft, squishy exterior.-Easy controls situated underneath (lights are affected by simply squeezing the lamp.-This lamp operates while charging or can operate wirelessly once charged.-The lamp does not get very hot and operates on a timer; I would actually be comfortable giving this to a child.-The asking price of $26 CAD is reasonable and currently there is a 20% coupon being offered for additional value.-Does indeed make a great gift because it is not something I would necessarily buy myself, but I would be happy to received as a gift.CONS-This particular lamp does not have a light that changes colours. A lot of these silicone lamps do so consider this if you wanted a mood light.-The lamp itself is pink, not a problem per se, but it is not colour changing.-I was not able to replicate the 6 hour operating time, and it was closer to a 4 hour run time on an overnight charge time.
My Favorite!
This is my favorite light in the house now! Genuinely just adorable and I like to give it a whack when I’m cooking to turn it on for 20 mins to help keep time. Super cute. Everyone that’s seen it thinks it’s adorable. We lost power last week and guess which light saved the day. This one! No hesitation to buy this.
Super cute night light!
I ordered this for my daughter because she absolutely loves axolotls! She is a little bit older, but still enjoys using a night light and especially because this one is super cute!!The light of this night light is quite soft – so it is really great for keeping in a bedroom in case someone needs to get up in the middle of the night. There are 2 brightness settings for this light (100%, 50%, and off)… and you can press the axolotl’s body to switch between each setting. There is also a switch on the bottom that gives you the option of “on”, “off”, or “20min”. The 20 minute function is great if you want to use it as a timer to indicate to your child when it is time to sleep.This is a really great night light option and the best part is that it does not have to be near an outlet to work. The night light is rechargable via USBC (it comes with a cable) and since it’s rechargable, you can bring this with you if you’re having a sleepover or use it anywhere in your home.This is a really great product! I will likely be ordering more as gifts for our cousins and friends as well.
