Keeps baby safe
I love that this came with two mini ducks. It works well. The different colors based upon temperature is very handy as it sometimes goes under the newborn bath sling and all I can see is the glow in the water. I got a second one so we have one no matter where we are, home or at our summer trailer.I was a bit skeptical upon opening if it’d be waterproof but after weeks of use and zero issues, I’m confident it’s fine.

Inaccurate, more difficult than necessary, and broke
Broke after a few baths, hard to use, inaccurate. Terrible.The battery died really quickly, we thought we must have left it on and got new batteries. I noticed the battery door kept spinning around and around without a stopping point but thought maybe thatâs how it was supposed to work. The door must have gotten stripped. The next day I saw the duck on but the screen blank and it doesnât work anymore. Water must have gotten in.Even before, when it was working, it felt cheap and was not a great experience:- there are too many useless options like timers and setting the time. So when you want to do something (like turn it off or switch between C/F) you have to press and hold alot and remember how to trigger it- the duck kept capsizing so the temperature reader was out of the water- the temperature was always lower than our (accurate) food thermometer, potentially meaning that the water could get hotter than was safe

Works really good. The only thing I didnât like is how small it was.
Easy to read
I love that the entire number display lights up green, red, or blue. It eliminates the guess work when it comes to the water temperature and only takes a glance to see if it is adequate. This is the second one that we are purchasing, the first stopped working after about a year despite changing the battery.

I love this product. It was a gift for my son when he was born. He’s now 3 years old and I use it for every bath. It’s perfect because it let’s you know if the bath water is too hot, just right, or too cold.It’s very accurate as well. My son loves playing with it. It’s definitely durable.
I adore this little ducky because it works fairly quickly, and I donât have to worry about my baby playing with it. Iâve been using it for about 3 months so I havenât had to change the batteries or anything. If anything happens when I do Iâll update.
Super cute ducks. My baby likes playing with them. Sadly, the thermometer doesn’t seem to be working. I can’t get it to turn on. I pushed the button for 3 seconds, it flashed on, but immediately turned off. I tried putting in new batteries, putting it in water, etc. It never turned back on. Still works as a toy I guess…Update: we bought fresh batteries for it and it now works. The batteries that came with it must’ve been duds.
This ducky is a favorite bath item. Works great!!!
The temperature was not accurate when compared to a meat thermometer. It Lso stopped working after 2 weeks. Will try changing the battery to see if it will work again but I was expecting the battery to last more than 2 weeks considering I was only using it every other day and only during bath time.
