I bought this to use as a car seat blanket to bring my son home from the hospital because I liked the whale print, but I ended up loving the blanket quality, and ordered three more sets through the vendor’s website. The blanket is double-layered, so there is no “inside/bad side” of the blanket. It’s soft and stretchy and big enough that swaddling with it is really easy. It’s a decent weight, not too light, but not too heavy, and we folded it a couple times to cover him in the car seat to bring him home in December. The hat was also surprisingly well made for the newborn hats I’ve seen. It’s deep enough that you can actually pull it down to where you want it, and doesn’t just rest on the top of the head or roll off. I will say, it may be pretty snug if your baby has a big head; it is smaller in diameter than almost all of the 0-3 month hats I’ve bought separately. Even for the blanket alone, this was a worthwhile purchase!

My husband bought this set to match my gown he bought. When he read it said knotted hat we assumed it was a hat not a bow. It would have been nice to read bow instead of knotted hat. Emailed company to ask about an actual hat as we are having a boy and not a girl and was told they don’t have a hat for this set, which is fine. I emailed back and said was there one that was similar to this set available and got no response. The fabric for this set is beautiful and very soft, just a little off put for the description of the product. I gave this set 5 stars even tho we aren’t completely satisfied with the bow instead of hat.
I love that the blanket and hat are so soft and stretchy. I mean the fabric feels awesome. When looking at the hat i thought it was going to be to big for a newborn but it fit perfectly. It was the only hat that would stay on. The one the hospital gives you just kept slipping off but not this one. I love it definitely a good buy…
