We are trying to dementia proof our home for my mother and there isn’t much out there for dementia patients. This works well and was easy to install and open by an adult or someone who can process how to open it. We were trying to keep my mother from unplugging all the cords from the wall. She will occasionally be persistent enough where she manages to tug on the cord until it wiggles out of the socket. If you are buying it to baby proof it is good for safety and you can even fit a plug in air freshener inside of it and still get the scent to cone out because of the holes (mom would unplug them and flip the upside down so all the oil would run out). It protrudes a bit but fits well over a regular sized outlet and is durable.Does what it says it will do.
It’s very practical
Good product, easy to install and very strong, plenty of options for wires to exit! We now have 2 in use in our house at the moment.
I bought different one (a cheaper one) that said it was for large adapters, but it was not. This one fits a large sideways adapter just fine! It is easy to install and open up. Immediately after installation, it doesn’t feel like it’s going anywhere either. Perfect for toddler proofing my son’s room!
