We took this toy on a 10 hour drive with us and I loved that it had an on/off button, and 2 volume controls. The music is nice, and the baby/toddler has multiple buttons to push to keep them entertained. It’s not annoying which is exactly what we were looking for.
Closest thing to a real boom box
Our 15 month old really loves music. She rocks out to all the musical toys but they are lacking, because they play a tune for maybe 10 seconds then need a button push to play more. With her existing music playing toys any button push changes the song. Not with this thing, she can play a song and then interact with the drum button – the song keeps playing, and the drum sounds play over top! The controls are similar to a ‘real’ music player, forward, back, play/pause, so no confusion for parents, or kiddos later on. Song selection is really good and there are three modes for different musical styles. Great little toy, really happy with our choice. She started dancing to stuff at a really young age and we wanted to give her the closet thing to a real boom box to nurture a love of music and this fits the bill.
She really likes.That is half the battle.

This is easy for my 18 month old grandson to operate. The music has a great sound and the fact that the music is all a variation on classical music is great. Don’t get me wrong, this is definitely not boring (I’m not a classical music enthusiast), but it’s nice to have music that isn’t always childish. The batteries last for ages. Just a great little toy. Easy to carry around or set down while you play with something else. Very highly recommended.

I got this little boombox for my 14 month old granddaughter. She loves the music, lights and the fact that she can carry it. I had hoped it would include old standard songs (Old Macdonald, Bingo, Iâve Been Workinâ on the Railroad, etc.), but the 3 channels of instrumentals hold her interest and make her dance.
