My oldest child is 19, the youngest is 10, and we’ve always had pets… baby gates have been a thing for almost 2 decades of my life. I’ve tried them all.Our latest mix of fur babies is a 17 year old kitten and a 1 year old dog. Needless to say, the pup loves the cat food (even in it’s final form).This is the best gate I have EVER had. Ever. It looks great, EASY to use, easy to install. We use it in a doorway but it cake with the option for stairs!Honestly we love this thing so much it is unbelievable. Don’t look for another gate!

I need help with purchasing an extension of 2â. I need to move gate to another doorway which is a bit wider, but I do not need to purchase another unit. Please advise, thank you

I absolutely love this product as it serves its purpose for me to keep my dogs out of my cat room. It was amazing for a couple months however now something popped off and when I tried to put it back I could only have the spring and another piece so I think Iâm now missing a piece as it will no longer open and close with the spring and I have to be careful with it not move to much or the door just comes off. Still usable but now it is more annoying to use.

I have an American Cocker Spaniel. One day he figured out how to push open my old baby gate. This was just leaned up against the door with a gap at the side for my cats to go through. For years this worked lucky me.But one day out of the blue he wanted in the cat room and he pushed the gate down. I would barricaded and put heavy boxes in front and back to try and stop him. Nothing worked!He had a taste for the cat kibble now and cat food. So he was very determined.Since installing this Amazing gate he cannot get in the room at all. Every time I go in the room you can tell he is trying to figure out how to get the food lol.All he can do is stick his head in the hole for the cats and bark now in frustration.I was a little worried about the size of the door for the cats. As itâs a little smaller in height then I thought. But my cats manage very well. Iâm sure a bigger cat would be fine too. But if you have a larger taller cat. I would just double check their size to the door.There is a plastic toe kick plate that can go on the bottom of the gate before installation. I didnât put it on as the plastic groove was very hard to open. Trying to put this part on was hard, so I did not install it. Just remember to lift your feet up walking in or you will smack your toe on the bottom bar.I did this once lol. Now Iâm just more careful.I included pictures and a video.I love how the gate will self close if only open a little bit. If itâs open all the way it will stay open.Wonderful product. Highly recommend it!!!
Strong and functional
Love this gate. It’s much wider than another one I purchased. I can get though it with bulky items (i.e., holding a laundry basket). I love that the gate opens in both directions! The latch is easy to operate with one hand but is a very sturdy close. My baby likes to hold the gate and rock it pretty roughly, but it’s never opened or damaged the integrity of it. It’s a nice matte and beautiful black so it fits the more “classy” aspect of our home… As classy as you can get with a curious baby running around. The animal door is decent enough for a cat or small dog but even if my baby could figure it out, I don’t think she could crawl through it easily. We just keep it held open all the time for the cat to have free range. Unfortunately even with the little lock to have the cat door stay open my babe can manage to push it down a bit when she pulls herself up on the gate. I just put two pieces of black electrical tape under the door to stop it from sliding down and it’s worked great. Haven’t had to fix it since.
I would highly reccomend this gate for anyone with cats
This works perfectly for what I needed it for, it was easy to install, and use the lift gate is easier than other gate openers I Have had in the past, Cats took only a minute to figure out the door, and my medium dog cant fit through to the food and little boxes, SO 5stars it is.

Sleek Looking
Sturdy and looks great, not as practical when using on stairs (the cat door fits a large cat like mine, but he doesn’t have room to get through with it being on a step). But it’s nice that the door stays open when in a 90 degree angle, so we just keep it open when the baby isn’t around, so cat can still get through.
