Bought this as our âtravelâ monitor for trips or afternoon at family when baby needs a nap. So say Iâm impressed is an understatement. Practically no setup required and the image was so clear! It just added the extra piece of mind needed when already not sleeping in our own space. Highly recommend! If we didnât already have a system in our own home (from baby #1) I would use this as our main system!

**Update**I’ve only had this 6 months and it’s completely stopped working. It started when the camera wouldn’t move anymore to look around the room. Whatever, not a HUGE deal, so I lived with it. Then today, I went to use it and the screen is completely frozen, parent unit will not turn off, (even holding down the power button) and it’s completely unusable. Unplugged everything and plugged back in and it’s still not working. This is going in the garbage. Very disappointedFor $20 (and it not having any reviews yet) I didn’t have high hopes for this monitor. It’s actually not too bad though! It’s got a few quirks, but for the price, I’d buy it again. It gets the job done.Pros:- Price- Decent video (with or without lights on)Cons:- The controls are a little weird, but you get used to them.- The buttons are touch and not physical buttons. It makes them really easy to bump when you pick it up to look at the video, and almost impossible to use in the dark.- Screen brightness. Even turned all the way down, it lights up the whole room- Battery life. It won’t go more than a day without being plugged in, and is fairly slow to charge. We just leave it plugged in.- Short power cord for the camera. The camera uses a micro USB cable to plug into the wall. It is not long enough to reach a shelf from the outlet. I had to go purchase a new cable that was long enough (luckily those are easy to find!)
This monitors camera, sound quality is top notch. Got this because we recently got a VTech split screen for toddler and new baby but it was awful and was sent back . So went with this based off reviews and very surprised with quality . The only qualm I have and why I gave 4 starts instead of 5 is because the description of the product and the picture images show that it is a âsplit screenâ when accommodating two cameras end it is not, it can switch between two screens but you cannot view two cameras at the same time. Testing out one other brand before more than likely will be keeping this one due to the quality of the camera!
We use this as our travel camera. Easy set up and very compact. It has a little buzz because of the frequency the camera issues, but itâs not too noticeable.
