Tons of musical fun, excellent quality, well made
This is a really nice musical set for little ones. The toy instruments are all made of wood (other than the triangle) with a few metal parts as necessary for the xylophone and the tambourine. They are very well constructed and sized nicely for the hands of little ones.They actually produce pretty decent sound quality for something of this size and price. My little ones love making “music” with them — the maracas, the tambourine, and the “washboard” seem to be their favourites so far but they have now started getting the hang of the woodwind too and they really like the xylophone as well.They spend hours and hours having fun with these instruments and they have not grown bored with them at all in the couple of months that they have been playing with them so far. These instruments make my little ones very happy, and when they are happy I am happy. So this set has earned its 5 star rating from me, for sure.
Nice to see wooden toys again
We have two (almost) 1 year old twins, and it was nice to see some wooden toys pop up on vine, don’t have to worry about chemicals in plastic from overseas (lets be honest, “overseas” plastic toys are not retro-era Fischer Price quality anymore).While I won’t let play with these toys without supervision, they love them (minus the triangle which I removed as it takes more dexterity to play than they currently have). The skin on the tambourine feels pretty legit, the xylophone as small as it is, is *almost* completely in tune (highest note is slightly flat).
Solid instruments
Order these as a birthday gift for the next door’s neighbors little one and I must say the quality is a lot better than I thought because I was actually imagining something you would get from the dollar store but was I wrong.. the instruments are made from wood and metal and assembled very professionally.They all sound exactly like they’re supposed to and I’m sure the little one had a lot of fun making noise with them..lolVery impressed.. great value
Beautiful Set of Toddler-sized Musical Instruments!
My kiddo LOVES every instrument in this set! Usually these sets tend to be percussion instruments only, but this is one of the few that have a wind instrument – a single-note recorder. It took her a few tries before figuring out she had to blow hard enough to get a note, but man was it cute while she was still trying haha.The quality of the instruments is great. Solid wood finished very well with nary a rough spot. The colour scheme is very pleasing to the eye and the instruments sound great – like “real” instruments – just smaller for little hands.Highly recommend this set for budding musicians. It builds hand-eye coordination and a musical ear early on!

Pros:- With possibly two exceptions (see below), everything is very well made- The xylophone does indeed feature one octave that is true to the expected sound- Great for kids to explore different instruments and even to see if pursuing music as a hobby is of interest to themOpportunities:- The handle for the triangle is rubber and not likely to last long- The “skin” on the tambourine feels thin and may not last long, eitherOverall, this is a great set with just a few minor potential issues, which may not be issues.

There’s even a woodwind instrument along with a tambourine, a triangle, maracas, a wooden sounder and a xylophone.Kids can learn about colors, beating patterns, develop rhythm and a variety of instruments. They are very sturdy and will withstand young children as they play hard.This is a great a wonderful way for parents to interact musically with their children. It’s a great gift idea.
Cute wooden kit
Well constructed and sounding musical kit. Fun for any little 3+. Great for hand eye coordination, beat training and fun! It’s a cute set.
My son loveeed this wooden musical toys, he’s only 11 months old so he smashes everything but he still manages to make sounds. He is in the period of teething so he tries to bite everything, no toy has splintered. It also does not come with small parts that could be swallowed.The instruments are well built so they do not break when hit or thrown.
This set is beautiful! It’s made of nice quality wood, the colors are neutral but still attractive and there are so many pieces in the set that it makes for a great gift!
