but am finding it most useful on my toddler
I wish I’d discovered this product earlier! I bought it for my second baby, but am finding it most useful on my toddler. Toddler has always screamed when I try to clip his nails and it’s a huge stressful ordeal. This file he LIKES. He actually brings it to me asking me to use it on him! Super simple to use, gentle, and works great on baby, toddler, and myself!
Great for baby!
Works well for baby. I file his nails down while heâs breast feeding. Has never hurt him. I bought it because I was constantly nervous nicking him with the baby nail clipper. Now Iâm never nervous about hurting him! Only downside is there are so many pieces! I honestly would never use this for myself, so itâs probably better to just have the pieces for the baby and not really for myself lol. I can cut my nails and file them with the basic tools.

Really happy with this product! I quickly trim my lil one’s nails when he’s sleepy or asleep. He likes the vibration on his nails now and it doesn’t bother him at all. He’s almost 4 months old and I’m still using the 0-3 month piece cuz it still works just fine. I bought this product because I was worried about how I would trim his nails. Definitely did not want to clip them or bite them off, and an emery board was taking wayyyy too long. So happy I came across this device!
Overall good tool, not the best for newborns
Itâs not the best for newborns. My daughter has long nails beds so attempting to file just the nail vs. Her skin as well. Maybe as a toddler this would be more affective. The files are soft and are not hurting her at all. So the comfort is quite good. We shall see how it works as she gets older.

I was absolutely terrified to trim my newborns nails when we brought him home from the hospital. This tool made it SO easy! I used it on myself first just to make sure I couldnât accidentally hurt him if he moved or jerked while it was in motion. I was able to use it on my nail and even put it directly on my skin and it didnât scratch or scrape me at all. In the picture you can see how sharp and pointy his nails were before using the trimmer (look at his thumb nail that hadnât been touched yet) and you can see how well it filed the others down. I love the way this not only trims their nails by filing them but also rounds out the edges bc he has not been able to scratch his face anymore even when he manages to get his hands out of his mittens! Itâs basically fool proof and definitely a must have in my opinion!!
Easy to use, very effective. My baby was frequently scratching his face with his badger claws. I struggled to file them down with a normal file and I didn’t trust myself with clippers. Baby falls asleep while I trim him nails with this file. One of the best buys that I have made for my little one.

Best baby nail trimmer ever. My daughter has struggled with keeping her newborn’s nails trimmed … until we found this product. It’s perfect, easy to use even with a wiggly child. The lightest weight nail pad is perfect for newborn nails and doesn’t scuff the baby’s skin at all. There’s no chance of cutting the baby’s fingers and, because the nails are being filed instead of cut, the nails are much smoother to the touch so less likely to leave scratches when baby grasps and pinches. I highly recommend this product.
