Was concerned about the price, we lost or original nail trimmer on vacation so purchased this one and it works just the same as more expensive ones. Easy to hold, quiet, different speeds, have used it multiple times with no issues.
I normally don’t write reviews but I absolutely love this product and I just had to take the time to write a review. Initially, I was a bit hesitant about using the product on my 1 week old baby. I decided to buy it and give it a try, since my son was scratching his face daily. The first time I used it, I tried it on my fingertip to test how rough it was to make sure that it wasn’t going to hurt my baby. I absolutely love how safe and easy it is to use it. My baby constantly moves his hand and I love that it automatically stops rotating once you add some pressure to it. It’s very gentle on a newborn baby and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something to help reduce their baby’s scratching. My son is now 3 months old and I have been using it about once to twice a week. It has been working great I just ordered some replacement heads since the one I use is now worn. I still have yet to try the more coarse files but the smoothest one has been perfect for my son at this stage. The light doesn’t really help since the file mostly covers it.Update: It has now been a little over two years since I purchased this item and I have to say that it is still working amazingly (even after being dropped and thrown multiple times by my son). I have used it on my kiddo about once a week and it works great at filing down sharp edges on his hands and toe nails. It’s super easy to use, and my now toddler is able to use it himself (with supervision ofcourse). I have replaced the battery twice since I bought it and have used approximately 10 different replacement heads. I liked it so much that I purchased one for my sister as a babyshower gift. I hope this helps someone looking to purchase one.
I had low expectations for this cheap file but it was actually pretty easy to use and worked much better than the emery board I’d been trying to use. It’s quiet and gentle enough for my 2 month old to be unbothered.
I absolutely love this nail file it’s perfect for my baby’s little fingers and I’m afraid to use clippers so this is literally so good easy to use the quality of the different heads are perfect it’s durable and quiet so I can use it while she’s sleeping And it cuts her nails perfectly
I’m the mom of 6 kids – 4 grown and 2 teenagers. We have custody of our infant granddaughter and I’m telling you, this invention is literally the best thing since sliced bread. No struggling to cut baby’s nails. No accidental nips. She sits there and lets me file her nails. It’s impossible for this to hurt her. The only subpar thing in the light – it’s pretty useless – I tried facing the product in both directions and neither was really helpful. But all in all, a must have for any parent!
