Simple and effective
These knob covers will do the job for keeping little hands from opening doors. Although it took me a minute to figure out how to open and close them, the actual design is simple and easy to use. The video helped me understand it easily, and once attached, the covers are simple and straightforward to use. The knob design lets you grab the knob directly below the cover, and I like how there is a twist function for making the knob completely inaccessible when desired.
Keeps our baby safe!
These are great! And still working!!! When I bought these our boy had just turned two and was reaching the door knobs and opening them! I wasnât too concerned with our front door until he figured out he can turn the deadbolt on his tippy toes and thus open the door. Thatâs when we decided we needed these. I got the four pack because I knew I wanted at least two and having extra could come in hand. So one went on our front door immediately and one went on our door out to the garage immediately. The other two did come in hand with one going on the guest bath door and the other on the master bedroom door. He is now 3, and still hasnât figured out how to open the doors with these covers on which is great because he definitely figured out the safety locks for the cabinetry very quickly. Should have bought the magnetic ones on those.

My son likes to open every door in our place. Unfortunately when he opens the linen closet, he takes everything out and makes a huge mess. This is a great way to stop him from getting inside.He knows how to open other baby safety door knob handles but not this one. This is due to the fact that the cover body can be turned to close the cover completely.This comes in a 5 pack. Itâs durable and complex enough to deter kids from opening doors they shouldnât be opening. The only problem I encountered is the cover was a little tricky to open. It took me a few tries to get used to it.Overall, Iâm happy with these door knob covers. They are reasonably priced. Recommended!
Safety first
When you try to baby proof your house these knobs come in handy. They appear less sturdy than expected though, but only time will tell if they last. Mine was missing the instructions but otherwise they work as advertised.

this is a nice and non permanent way to keep children from opening any doors you donât want them to. Weâve had them for a few months now and so far my three year old has not figured out how to open any doors that have this lock on it. Very easy to put on and off
Good way to kid-proof doors
Great item for helping to toddler-proof doors. Easy to install, just pop the end off and unsnap the two sides, then reattach around the door knob. When tiny hands try to open the door, the cover will just spin and spin, preventing entry. Good design that should work with any traditional round doorknob.
Perfect for Keeping Doors from being opened…..
When we moved my 91 year old mom into our home, we needed to keep her out of several rooms. With Alzheimers, we needed to keep her from opening up the front door to step outside….and also out of the laundry room since we store bleach, etc.. I wasnât sure if these would annoy her or not…but tried them out anyway and she knew they were there for a reason. So yes – they were very easy to install – easy to remove and easy to use. Iâm grateful for the short time we used them.
