Not as good for the âfeelâ parts as i have experienced with other books
Itâs meh
My 1 year old daughter gets frustrated because thereâs really nothing to feel or touch. Itâs just texture on the page and sparkle but no actual things to touch and feel. Both my 3 year old and 1 year old are not that interested in this book at all. I wish they would bring back the really cool touch and feel books back from when my oldest daughter who is now 17 had.
Not really touch and feel?
Itâs a cute little book but thereâs basically no touch and feel parts to it. The touch and feel consists of extremely faint bumps, some rough sparkles, or one tiny little spot that is a different texture but itâs such a small spot it would be hard for a child to really get any âeffectâ from it.Cute for a child who is all about mermaids maybe but I wouldnât get it for any sensory touch and feel aspect.

I bought this book for my great niece’s 1st birthday. She was having a mermaid themed party. It’s a lovely little book for small children. Lots to feel, and bright colourful pictures to look at.
