Wonderful Baby Thermometer!
Although I have grandchildren now, I can well remember my own children when they were young. Even back to the days of being babies. At that point in my life, the young kids were quite a stress. Why? Because the kids don’t come with an instruction manual! Everything was new to us, and we desperately wanted to do everything right. This little thermometer would have helped us out a lot!Feeding time was stressful. 42 years ago, we did not have a microwave oven. You heated bottles in hot pots of water – and waited! But how long? Would it be too hot or too cold? This would have made a huge difference in our lives! I would never have though to use this Baby Thermometer to measure food, but that’s one of the stated uses! That’s brilliant!The same is true of the bathwater. How wonderful to just aim this little device, pull the trigger and in just a couple of seconds, you know exactly the temperature of the water.Lastly, and hopefully not used as much, you have the ability to measure your babies temperature very quickly, too. I love the fact that you monitor their temperature as they sleep, as the reading is non-evasive.Although the Baby Thermometer rates temperature to a single decimal point, I believe that is actuate enough. It also has an alert for high temperatures, with both sight and sound.It uses simple, easy to obtain AAA batteries (supplied) as the power source.Bottom Line – An excellent gift to new parents! It would take so much stress out of their lives by making sure food and bathwater are the temperatures they should be. And when baby does get a bit sick, being able to monitor with a touch-less method is the best. The unit is easy to use, accurate and feature rich. It even has a great design and look to it!

Works much better than others Iâve tried.
The only reason I didnât rate this a 5 is because I donât know how long itâll last and itâs my 3rd thermometer in a matter of years. Itâs my favourite so far.This thermometer is very straightforward to use, with simple button controls and a digital display to help you navigate the functions and know which one youâre using.I wanted it only for people and itâs accurate when compared with others.I especially like that itâs touchless.It uses 2 AAA batteries, which I prefer to rechargeables or those single use cell batteries that are always dead when you need them.However, because I donât use it that often, I donât leave the batteries in. My battery storage box is always nearby so Iâll always have fresh batteries when I need the thermometer.The quality is excellent.I find the price for this type of thermometer to be reasonable, especially given its quality, features, and ease of use.
At the time of this review the Babydoc thermometer is currently on a Black Friday deal for £23.96 which I feel is great value for money.When you have children in the house you will inevitably find yourself reaching for thermometers more times than we care to remember. For years we used the old traditional manual ones that go under the tongue and are often difficult to get accurate readings from. Later we upgraded to digital device that gets placed against the head bother gave inconsistent readings with the later one giving wildly high readings.Eventually once the Granddaughter came along we decided it was finally time to upgrade to a new thermometer.It’s safe to say that this has been a absolute game changer, he advanced sensor has been flawless in use giving clear and accurate readings every time. Having the ability to take a reading without the need to press against the skin is perfect for toddlers and the simple colour changing traffic light system is great for quick analysis.The device is simple and easy to use and includes batteries so you can use right out of the box.I’m convinced every home should have one of these for the family.
Ho deciso di provare questo tipo di termometro principalmente per non svegliare i miei figli durante la notte per misurare loro la febbre quando sono malati. Potrebbe essere usato per molte altre misurazioni, come ad esempio quella dell’acqua del bagnetto o del latte (e funziona anche bene), ma principalmente lo uso per la temperatura corporea.La misurazione avviene in modo molto rapido ed è notevolmente più preciso di quello che utilizzavo in precedenza. L’altro capitava spesso che, facendo 3 misurazioni, desse 3 risultati differenti confondendomi non poco. Questo invece da differenze davvero minime, ho fatto il riscontro con il termometro classico sotto l’ascella e lo trovo molto preciso. Va posizionato ad un massimo di 5 cm dalla fronte e non va messo a contatto con la pelle, immediatamente si sente un segnale acustico e sul display compare la temperatura del bambino.Ha la possibilità di impostare gradi celsius o fahrenheit, se rileva una temperatura considerata “alta” si illumina il quadrante di rosso, con una temperatura “da allerta” si colora invece di giallo. E’ alimentato da due batterie AAA. E’ di dimensioni contenute e leggero, perfetto anche in viaggio.Lo considero un ottimo prodotto, non proprio economico, ma almeno di qualità e che valga i soldi spesi. Consigliato.

Me he quedado gratamente sorprendido de lo bien que funciona.ð Este termómetro funciona con infrarrojos y es de tipo pistola, pudiendo obtener la temperatura tanto de las personas como de las cosas en cuestión de unos segundos. Como decÃa, es de tipo pistola; tienes que apuntar con el termómetro a unos escasos centÃmetros de aquello o de quien quieras obtener la temperatura, aprietas el gatillo y, en unos segundos, dos o tres, emite un pitido y marca en la pantalla digital la temperatura obtenida.En la parte delantera tiene el sensor para obtener la temperatura, y tienes que acercarlo a unos centÃmetros de la frente de la persona de la que quieras medir la temperatura corporal o de la cosa de la que quieras saber su temperatura. En la parte trasera tiene cuatro botones. Una fila de tres botones que, si los miras de frente, el primero de la izquierda sirve para mostrar las últimas lecturas obtenidas; a medida que realizas una pulsación, avanza en su memoria mostrando en la pantalla la lectura obtenida e informándote de la configuración que habÃas realizado para obtenerla. El botón del centro de esa misma fila sirve para apagar o encender el altavoz; el lector pita con cada pulsación de cualquiera de los botones, asà como cuando empieza y termina de realizar una lectura. Es acercar a la frente, pulsar el gatillo y, en 2 segundos, pitar y marcar la temperatura de tu cuerpo. Nada más cómodo que este tipo de termómetros, la verdad, sobre todo, como en mi caso, llevaba años utilizando el tÃpico termómetro que tenÃas que poner durante minutos en la axila, y aunque también era digital, sin embargo, no funcionan de la misma manera que este termómetro al que el fabricante llama «Babydoc». â Ah, y que además incluye 2 pilas triple A.ð (Recomiendo sacar las pilas del termómetro cuando no se vaya a usar durante algún tiempo).â Para concluir y por resumir las caracterÃsticas del termómetro «Babydoc», decir que es cómodo de usar y rápido, y puedes medir tanto la temperatura de las personas como la de las cosas.ðUn termómetro de 10 perfecto e ideal con el que en 2 segundos podrás conocer la temperatura corporal de tu bebé o de su biberón.
