Absolutely love this monitor. I had a Vava and returned it because I was having issues nonstop. Iâm so glad I got this one instead. Quality is better, range is way better, sound is good, battery life is good. I literally have no complaints. I think the temperature indicator may be off by 1-2 degrees but that doesnât bother me. We monitor the temperature of our childrenâs room another way anyway
Great monitor, but seller customer service not helpful
The monitor itself is of excellent quality – great picture, lots of settings, great cameras and battery.HOWEVER, my parent unit is faulty and requires me to reset my preferred Vox, time, temperature etc settings every single time I turn the parent unit back on. I was in contact with the monitor company (Babysense) for several days and they were very helpful and responsive, however in the end, they told me I needed to contact the Amazon seller as it is out of their hands (they don’t sell directly to Canada and I bought off of Amazon). I was 3 days past the Amazon 30 day return and this Amazon seller (Nation Central) refused to offer any help besides telling me to contact the manufacturer. Extremely unimpressed with the customer service by this seller.
Ditch Vtech and buy BabySense!
Iâve had this monitor for a day but it already knocks my vtech ones out of the water. Great battery life, super clear photo, easy install, and overall better quality! Iâll recommend this brand to everyone now.

Got it as a baby shower gift and I like it so much. It holds charge and the monitor screen is clear and sometimes even brighter than the room actually is. The two camera option is very useful for me wiht the split screen. Did not use the two way talking option yet but I find it useful if you have two floors to run in between to talk/calm your kids. Recommend
Canadians- DO NOT BUY THIS!
To my fellow canadian parents- BEWARE. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CAMERA. Save yourself. Hereâs why:The seller of this camera is third party. They have only a 30 day return policy. We bought the dual camera and parent unit in September of 2023 and loved it up until the screen stopped working on the parent unit and temperature reading stopped working on one of the cameras. I had Amazon start a ticket for me to reach out to the sellers twice, with NO RESPONSE. After the 30 days from purchase, they will wash their hands of you. See ya never.Meanwhile, I called babysense directly and they are lovely, and based out of the US, and they honour a one year replacement warranty. The issue is babysense has no way of shipping the replacement units into Canada. Babysense has no authorized retailers in Canada at all. So unless you have someone in the states who can receive the items for you then mule them across the boarder for you, or you get your US friend to pay for shipping across the boarder, youâre out of luck. Out $300. Out of options for how to safely monitor your children.Learn from me and STEER CLEAR of this seller!!!! Pick another brand that can actually support parents properly when childrenâs gear breaks and is still well within manufacturer warranty. Do not continue to support this seller!!! They are making money off of Canadians and taking advantage, doing us Canadian parents dirty.Do. Not. Buy. This. Camera. There are SO many other options out there, do your homework and do better for youself.

UPDATE:: I have updated my rating and stars! The company has in fact sent a new monitor after lots of back and forth because of being in Canada- but they did send us a new monitor! ððð thank you!The product itself is good..yet 11months in the monitor stopped working – like black! No visual at all. Unfortunately this was bought at my baby shower though so it didnât fall within the 1 year purchase date so therefore my warranty was out.After contacting the company they said thereâs nothing they can do BECAUSE weâre in Canada. If in the states they would replaceâ¦
This camera is perfect
We were looking for a dual screen camera for our twins and Babysense seemed to be the most popular on the twins moms group I am a part of. Glad I listened to the crowd consensus. Imagine quality and sound are awesome. Itâs super easy to use and it works perfect. Prior to this we had one by one of the top brands on the market and it simply doesnât compare to Babysense. Strongly recommend!
Great monitor!
I have had this monitor for a couple months and I love it! Previously had a summer infant camera/monitor, which wouldnât keep a charge and was very frustrating – company did nothing to help when I reached out. Babysense product has great night vision (insanely clear/visible), battery life is really good and seems to have good range. I have 2 acres and didnât lose connection in and around my home (about 50-60ft) but havenât tested super far yet. I read in previous reviews that the sound isnât the best but I see no issues with that. Lastly, their customer service has been amazing to deal with as there was an issue with my camera not pairing and they are now sending me a new one with no hesitation! Definitely recommend!
We got the 2 cameras and monitor combo. Perfect to use at different places at our home. We move them around as needed. Super easy to carry around and plug in at any outlet. They connect immediately. The quality of the monitor is impressive. Very clear and neat images and have also the option its change brightness. Night vision is very neat as well. The cameras also have a night light included. We love it!One of the cameras stopped working and got a replacement right away. Customer service was respectful, responsive and the process was smooth.Highly recommend it!
Does not come with Australian plugs or adaptors
The device was very easy to set up. The two cameras were already paired to the parent unit and it comes with two wall mounting kits. This is an amazing price for 2 cameras and a parent unit. Before we moved and had our second kid, we had a Hubble camera that was almost the same price for only one camera. On top of it (Hubble) being over priced, we would constantly have connectivity issues and the camera quality wasn’t nearly as clear as the the Babysense. The VOX feature, split screen, and zoom on this thing are amazing. I also love that I’m able to see the whole room by moving the camera.The only downside of this Babysense monitor, which isn’t really a downside since it was resolved, is that after 1 night of using it the parent unit started making a weird sound (see video). I tried turning it off and on and pressing the reset button on the back, but neither of these things worked. And I also made sure it wasnt coming from my kids’ rooms or the cameras themselves. So I called customer service and the rep, Chris, was great. He was very polite and guided me through some troubleshooting tips. Since we weren’t able to resolve the issue, he ended up sending a new parent unit, free of charge. He said it would arrive in two days, but to my surprise it came in the very next day. Within less than 24 hours of calling customer service, I already had a new parent unit at my front door.Although the first parent unit was defective, I’m still giving a 5 star rating because the issue was resolved in a very quick and easy manner. Their customer service is one of the best I have seen. They also make it super easy to contact them by providing their contact information right on the parent unit so you always have it on hand. I will update this review if any issues arise with the new parent unit.
Not compatible with Australian plugs-American product. Not sure why this is being sold on Amazon.au. Not risking my baby’s safety by using dangerous adapters.
I tried another more expensive baby monitor that supposedly had better specs than this one (1080p quality, connect out of the box) and that one did not work near as well as this one!Where to start with the how amazing this is:- It connected immediately to the cameras as soon as I plugged them in, as promised- Picture quality during the day for naps is perfect- The night vision is great, crystal clear- Picks up sound great- Switches between camera 1 & 2 easily- Zoom has 3 settings that work well- Customizing preferences on tablet is so easyThe tablet battery didnât last quite as long as I thought – could just be because we use it so much – but honestly this product delivered on all the features (shocker, it does what it says it does), so Iâm going to give it the benefit of the doubt.
