Poor hardware, flimsy shelves
These are very thin shelves with very cheap hardware so they donât hang tightly. Do a little more searching. Others that Iâve purchased from Amazon for the same money previously were much better quality with much better hardware.
I really like it.
I really like these shelves. I bought them at a good price in the Amazon Warehouse. I like them a lot, it makes a very nice look to the piece. They are not too deep and give a floating appearance. They come in different sizes. I love them a lot. The only thing I have to say is that the hooks don’t install well. They are not completely aligned. I had to replace them so that they are better aligned, otherwise it would make a crooked shelf. Also, the price is very expensive in regular price. I don’t understand why it’s so expensive knowing that at Ikea they are much cheaper.
Love the look of these!
I was looking for floating shelves to finish off a wall design in my office, and these worked out perfectly. They are just large enough to hold decorative items perfectly without looking too bulky or sticking out too far. They were surprisingly easy to install, you just hang the backing onto the screws like a picture frame. Sturdy enough to hold heavier items too, I just made sure at least one of the screws was in a stud.
Poor quality
It looks great and theyâre the perfect size. However, it is very thin and cheaply made. I would be considered about putting anything with a little weight onto it.

I ordered to match my current 3 shelves. I gave 3 starts for ease of installation because the wall anchors that came with the shelves were too large. After drilling and installing the screw was not secure in the wall anchors. The shelves would not lay flush and level with the wall. After I realised this was the issues, I used smaller wall anchors I had in the house and this solved the fact my shelves were not laying flush and level.
Better installation hardware required and patience galore
Although these shelves are lovely to look at, the drywall anchors are not sufficient. My husband fiddled with these wall plugs and screws way too much compared to other floating shelves I purchased with the brackets. I had to run to the hardware store to buy better plugs as the shelf just kept leaning from the wall and there was no way that they would hold the weight stated, let alone any weight! Other reviews will tell you the same, the hardware to install is a pain. I wouldn’t purchase these again, they are too expensive to fight with.

The shelves look great and are very sturdy. However the dry wall anchors that were sent with the shelves were very bad. Good ones for cheap can be found at any hardware store. Once I installed it with better anchors there have been no problems.

These shelves were easy to put up as long as you aligned the screws correctly. I saw some negative reviews about the hanging hardware, itâs supported buy the hardware and the screw. The hardware and the physical hole in the wood/shelf do not need to line up because you are not drilling into the wood/shelf.. I hope that helps others clear things up. I used my own self drilling anchors and then mounted them with the screws that came with. So far I am very happy with them and I would probably buy again.
