These nursing pads are great. I originally used disposables and thought they were fine. When I zoomed through my first large box in a month, I realized the cost would quickly add up. I had a sample set of Bamboobies, so decided to try them out. They are very soft and flexible – it was so nice not to have plastic in my bra. Putting them in is easier, as you don’t have to fiddle with wrappers and sticker paper…and they’re easier to adjust after feeding too. They wash up nicely (I throw them in with my baby’s clothes because I don’t use fabric softener on his stuff) and absorb well. Hint: If the shape isn’t working for you, turn the heart upside down. Made a huge difference for me!

These are AWESOME nursing pads! I looked around for months before deciding on bamboobies and I’m SO glad I went with these ones! They are SO soft, don’t show through at all except when I’m wearing my nursing pj top without a bra, and they work wonderfully! I haven’t had a single leak and one set of pads will last me all day. I love the heart shape. I find them less bulky than the circle shape of the overnight pads and the hearts are super cute. I’ve already recommended them to friends and will continue to do so! I got behind on laundry one day and had to use disposable nursing pads. I reacted to them and they were so uncomfortable, so I feel 100% confident in saying that these are absolutely the way to go!
Good quality but HUGE and don’t wash easily
I was looking for pads that were thin enough not to show through a thinner sports bra / braille like all my other nursing pads do! This does fulfil that purpose, but I find there are certain other issues with them. These are soft and of a great quality, but when washed they roll up and are a bit challenging to un-roll. Also, they are MASSIVE! No chance of getting the round ones inside my bra, but the heart-shaped ones do fit, but they are still very large. Overall I’m happy that I bought them since I needed something to use when I am out in public and don’t want the pads showing, however the price is WAY too steep for what you’re getting.
Does not stay in place but is soft and absorbant
I was disappointed with these, they do not stay in place, which causes leaks through my shirt. They are very soft but if breastmilk is on my boobs they tend to stick and it’s like removing a bandaid once dried. Easy to clean as it is machine washable. And are seamless and don’t show through my bralettes
Right Choice
Review by my wife : Before buying this, I was thinking the heart shape of the product is absolutely cute, but may not work, as it’s so different from a regular round shape pad. However, after I got this, I found out it does work! The material is much softer than regular cotton, the bright colour and cute shape makes this daily routine more enjoyable. The most important thing is the function, no more leaking! Feel safe when using this! I sometimes feel itching when use disposable pad, maybe due to my skin is sensitive. But Bamboobies solve this problem. I’m so happy that I can now say bye bye to the disposable pad and save money!
Great product
After reading many reviews, I decided to order these as I was sick of wasting money on disposables. I love this product so far. I’ve only had them a couple days, and I am definitely impressed. The velour fabric is so nice and soft against my skin and they don’t slip out of place because of the heart shape. They seem to absorb well too (I am four months pp and leak an average amount) and I don’t find them noticeable under clothing. They are quite large in size which fits well for me. I wish I hadn’t waited so long to order them! I will definitely be ordering more in the future.
OK, but not great
Purchased the overnight and daytime bamboobies in attempt to save some $ vs using disposables. Overall, this product is very attractive and super soft. They keep their form well after being washed. I found the absorption was very good (overnight I tend to leak a moderate amount – I usually will 1/2 soak Lansinoh disposables, these I fully soak but they don’t leak through the shirt or anything). Despite some other reviews, I did not find they “stuck” to my nipples. Perhaps that would happen if you neglected to change them after 12 hours? However, my major complaint is that the waterproof backside of the pads are sort of silky, so very slippery in your bra; almost impossible to keep in place. For that reason alone, I find them impractical because you can’t rely on them to keep you secure where security is needed 😉
Awkward shape, bad absorbency
These pads are a sleek and comfortable material, but they are not absorbent enough. They are completely soaked and begin to leak into my bra within a couple of hours of wear. If I nurse while wearing them, the opposite side becomes completely saturated and I need to change it immediately. Even the nighttime pads don’t do the trick. The outer material on the daytime pads is slick, so they don’t stay put inside my bra, and the heart shape is cute but makes for a trickier placement. If they were just circular, the sliding would be less of an issue. I don’t even bother wearing them anymore.
I got some other washable pads from a friend and these ones a so much softer and more comfortable! I always grab these ones first.

Many women on a mothersâ facebook chat suggested the Bamboobies nursing pads and I must say I havenât been disappointed at all. So much more comfortable than cotton reusable nursing pads. No itch at all. The heart shape is actually also less apparent through a nursing bra than my Avant round nursing pads. A must have in a breastfeeding kit. I bought 2 packages since I was planning to give one to a friend, but I actually ended up keeping the entire 16 pads! (The amount you need will depend how much you are leaking…)
I am so excited that I got sick of my washable cotton nursing pads!!! Buying the Bamboobies overnight nursing pads was the best breastfeeding accessory decision I’ve made. I bought them two weeks ago after months using some organic cotton pads (my baby is only just 2 months, but I started leaking a couple of months before she was born).I bought 12 cotton pads and was doing a load of laundry every other day to keep up with the leakage, especially after baby was born and I had so much leakage that I had to wash both clothes AND sheets regularly due to leakage. Even with all that washing, I often still didn’t have enough pads to get me through the two days. Also, the cotton pads have become worn and have pills on them, and they don’t seem to wash as well – they seem to have hard milk stains that won’t wash out.I decided to pay a bit more for some Bamboobies overnight pads – they are INCREDIBLE! They are so, so soft, and they are so absorbent that I can’t even tell when they are wet, other than they are heavier. I’d initially been worried that they were one-sided, and that they couldn’t be reversed mid-wear in order to find a dry side, but that isn’t necessary with these! I wear them through the whole night, without any leakage onto the sheets or my clothes. They don’t stick to my nipples when I take them off, and they don’t get cold when they are wet. In the time that I would’ve used probably both sides of 2 or 3 sets of cotton pads and still been uncomfortable, I can use the one pair of Bamboozies all through the night and even in to the morning, without feeling itchy or uncomfortable. I LOVE THEM and I even wear these ones during the day now as well. The size is perfect – they are big enough that I can wear them with a normal sports bra for nursing, without the pads getting folded or lost when I am nursing or sleeping.I am so impressed. I definitely highly recommended these nursing pads!!
