Great for imaginary boo-boos and “feel better” tokens
We all know kids perceive the need for a band-aid to make their boo-boos feel better, even if they’re not actually hurt. These do the trick, and the fun patterns give them something to take their mind off of things. They come off fairly easily without yanking out hair as much.That said, they are not the best choice if there’s a real injury. They do come off fairly easily, and don’t ‘breathe’ easily so you’ll get pruny white skin under them if they get wet. They’re not actually that great for proper wound protection long term if you truly need that, and if there’s anything on you child’s skin (ex. sunscreen was put on earlier in the day/they’re sweaty) they won’t stick on at all.If you need a good band-aid to really stay on and provide protection the adult band-aids would be a better option, but if you need something to just make your kiddo feel better psychologically these are a lifesaver. Mostly our kids just use them for invisible injuries because they “NEED” a band-aid and will stick half the box on themselves to feel better 🙂
