This appears to be of good quality. It installs fairly easily. A nice bonus is that the hinge pin can be changed to have it open from bottom up or a left hand swing.Priced a little high, but still not too bad.Yes, I would recommend this to anyone needing ane exterior outlet protector.

Easy install just a couple of screws. For weatherproofing I added caulk around it since I have T1 11 but the gasket would probably suffice on a flat surface. Looks nice. Good quality at this price point!
Purchased for outside outlet. Easy to install and great for the wet location.
I got this for the power line for an outdoor security camera that needs to be plugged in. Works fine. The receptacle has a little light that indicates the power is on; I can see that through the clear cover plate of the box…handy. I would buy another if I ever need one.
