Great power, sharp blades, 2 GLASS containers
I had a Hamilton Beach mini chopper for years, but the plastic bowl and lid was cracked and leaked when I used it, so I tossed it in the trash several months ago. A close friend of mine bakes bread, bagels, buns, etc. She gave me a loaf of homemade sourdough bread. First thing I wanted to put on my sliced sourdough bread was my homemade chicken salad. I cooked 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts but then quickly realized that I no longer had a machine to finely chop the chicken and other ingredients I use to make my chicken salad. Headed to Amazon to find myself a new chopper and I stumbled upon this one. After checking numerous others from brands like Hamilton Beach, Black & Decker and Ninja; I decided on this one for several reasons. First- Price. $39.99 plus taxes. Second- Power. 400 watts at high speed is more than ample to chop or puree most any foods and is more than other manufacturers supply. Third- 2 GLASS containers. Yes, 2. Large one holds 2 litres, smaller one holds 0.6 litres. I’ve only used the 2 litre one so far but I’m very impressed with its chopping capabilities. Fourth- motor sits on top, which reduces the likelihood of liquids from the foods draining into the motor, that is typical of many other choppers and can cause electrical damage, fires, and motor failures when the motor assembly is located at the bottom of the device. This device appears to be well engineered. I highly recommend it!

It works good, if don’t use too long. It is easy too be hot.When it is hot, it stops working. It needs to be cool down.Well, price is good.
Nontoxic and high-quality!
I read reviews online to find the best mini food processor and Iâm so glad I did! I love my bear. Itâs powerful and has glass bowls So none of that toxic plastic. I originally ordered a kitchen stuff plus Mini processor and was disappointed to see they did not use nontoxic materials. I only have used the small bowl, but Iâm glad to have the larger one for future uses. Excellent value for the price!
Completely broken after 3 months
Food juice will get into this hole and then eventually into the motor inside the machine. Thereâs no way to clean the food juice except for rinsing it with water. Thereâs also no way to prevent the food juice from getting into the machine and then drip into the container when you use it again. Bad design. The motor doesnât run at all after 3 months.

Great quality for a fabulous price!
Honestly I was not sure what to expect. I have been using a small maxi chopper for the past 35years and needed a replacement since it’s plastic bowl recently cracked.I am very impressed by this processor! I absolutely love the flexibility provided by the 2 different sizes of glass bowl!! The attachments and non-slide rings and bowl covers are simple to use!! The choice of the 2 speeds works well for all of my needs in fact I have primarily used the slower speed. I was surprised by how quiet this chopper was and how easy it is to clean up. Win, win, win!This food processor has exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend purchasing.
Doesn’t really work
The motor is not powerful enough, can’t chop meat even if loaded below max indicator line. Returned!
ABSOLUTE BEST FOOD PROCESSOR ALL AROUND!I’m going to first address others “negatives”:1) Yeah, the blades are SHARP! The only warning that ought be required, to avoid injury, is “food processor”. It’s a given that the motor shouldn’t be operated unless and until the blades are in either bowl, and the lids are on.2) Blades go in first, and the bowl should not be overfilled, or the motor WILL NOT fit on properly to engage with the blades.3) Cleaning the little hole of the blades is as simple as using a small (straw) brush, when/if necessary. Cleaning the little hole of the motor is also as simple, UNPLUGGED, and not emersing in water.4) Obviously, unplug or disengage motor from blades, and use care when washing the SHARP blades!5) My guess, especially considering, is that cord length is for some’s own safety.What sold me on this food processor, over others, despite the negative reviews of:1) It has a 400 Watt motor; more than sufficient motor power for my needs.2) Especially as I don’t want any kind of plastic (that leaches chemicals, especially when exposed to heat) touching my or my dog’s foods, even though #5 “food grade” is “considered safe”, I was ecstatic to find this food processor that comes with two different sized BOROSILICATE GLASS BOWLS. If you don’t know what borosilicate glass is, and what that means, it’s worth investing the time and energy looking it up.It means that, unlike the others, the bowls are made with not only a stronger glass, but that they will withstand heat, and fluctuating back and forth from hot to cold, or cold to hot.3) After checking all of the reviews, and videos and pics, especially after I realized that the negative comments had nothing to do with the actual quality of the food processor, and after checking to make sure of who doesn’t/don’t own the company, I was sold.4) For those who make their baby’s food from fresh, organic, and nonGMO ingredients, and who especially don’t want to feed their baby anything from plastic, this food processor would be amazing for. I’d, personally, choose this one over the 200 watt for baby food. But that’s just me. I buy my own glass food storage jars.How well it’s worked for me, thus far:1) It evenly chops, minces, powders, mushes, and liquifies fresh vegetables and fruits for my dog’s homemade food. Which I do so she’ll get all of the nutrients from, because a dog’s digestive system is much faster than humans.2) It fully grounds meat or chicken, perfectly. Although I usually give her raw chicken, bone and all, I add some to her veggies and rice, so she’ll eat them all. Otherwise she’ll hold out for the bone.3) Considering dog’s faster digestion, and considering the natural antiparasitic effects of pumpkin seeds, more effective within the first 15 minutes of being ground or powdered, I love that it grinds seeds and nuts down to a powder.4) It minces five bulbs of garlic with ease and within seconds. It chops onions, as little or as much as I want. It does both in a fraction of the time it used to take me, so I can store both, separately, in glass jars in the fridge, ready to use when I cook.5) It does what it’s supposed to do, and does it quickly, so that it hasn’t overheated on me once.6) It cleans and dries super easy. I use a mini bottle brush to clean up inside of blades and (unplugged… shouldn’t have to say) motor.7) It’s cute enough, especially as much as I use it, to leave out on my kitchen counter.
I initially purchased the Kitchenaid blender with a plastic 4oz container for about $62. It worked fine and did what itâs supposed to, but later returned it for the lack of power. What I like about the bear blender compared to others is that it comes with 2 different sizes of containers, containers are made of glass as opposed to plastic for ease of cleaning, the motor is 400w double the power of the kitchenaid ( does way better job puréeing foods), and last but not least this is half the price of the kitchenaid! Frankly the whole thing feels nicer and higher quality
I really like that this uses glass bowls versus plastic like my last one that became pitted. It is very fast at chopping it only took about 3 x 15 second pulses in speed I to make a pound of tomatoes into salsa. I did hit it on speed II just to see what it did for a few seconds, so keep in mind you can always chop it more but canât do less. It is quite a powerful processor.The pieces fit together securely, lock intuitively together and work well. It came with two small soft rings that fit on the bottom of the bowls, not sure if itâs to prevent slipping or isolate the sound from the countertop; but it does both.For the price this is a great little kitchen tool. Very happy with it.
Another person here who bought it for making pet food. I’ve only used it for raw meat so far.It does a good job. The meat will be more cut into chunks, as opposed to shredded or ground, if it’s still slightly frozen. This is especially true of poultry skin.It’s inconvenient to reassemble and slot the motor onto the shaft every time you fill the bowl. It’s silly that the rubber protector rings for the bottoms of the glass bowls aren’t attached.It’s easy to clean. It’s fairly quiet.For maximum convenience, spend more and get a real food processor, but this will do the job.
The day before Thanksgiving I ordered this chopper. It came that afternoon. I was NOT hand chopping anymore. I was amazed with this product. An entire bag of celery stalks…chopped in seconds. It gave me 3 cups of nicely chopped celery. Next was the onions. Perfect. You do have to watch so you don’t over chop. It takes only seconds. The price was good too. It made preparing turkey dinner so much easier.
