I used this as a permanent surface and it works great, much easier to build on black for us with poor eyes, we glued it to wooden easel

Does a good job at holding the puzzle. Havenât really used it to roll up that often tho. All in all does what itâs supposed to
Great work space
Allows us to move the puzzle when needed and also keep track of pieces. Easy to set up. Expect many years of use.
Sliding pieces
Very large ridge in the centre of the roll. From being rolled up too long. Even just leaving it out to smooth, it is still present. The pieces slide and make it very difficult to connect the puzzle pieces. Lots of frustration. Overall the sizing is good and the concept is great.
Easy to move partially done puzzles
We should have ordered this ages ago. Each Christmas we do a 1000 piece puzzle. It takes quite a while and usually is worked on for a few days. A puzzle that size takes up a whole kitchen or dining room table. This can be inconvenient. Making the puzzle on the mat allows you to roll it up and move it intact. Works great.
Huge price increase during Covid
This puzzle mat mix puzzle so much easier because you can type them away when you donât have time to work on them. I love it itâs a great product but I am truly disappointed that during this time when others might be wanting to buy this product it has gone up $17. It seems wrong that our seller would take advantage by increasing their product cost when likely thereâs been no change to how much theyâre paying for the product they are likely just using product thatâs in storage. I bought this product in February and March as a gift and it was $21.99 it is now $38.99
Don’t waste your money
First the blow up tube would not inflate regardless of what kind of pump used. The one that came with the package was a joke, and totally useless. So could not role it up as designed. The mat is rough so it’s difficult to to move pieces around.
Great choice
The description fits the product. Easy to use and put away.
I like it! I worked on a 1000 piece puzzle for several days then needed to clear the table for guests coming for dinner. This product makes it possible to put away a partially finished puzzle without losing pieces. The needle for the pumper is inside the pumper top so be sure to look for that. I like the fact that there are Velcro straps for each end of the roll AND a bag to hold the whole thing. I also used storage trays for the extra pieces (separate purchase).
Seems like nice quality
Weâre always start 1000-piece puzzles that take up my entire kitchen island and leaving them for days at a time. Was weird to figure out and fold up the first time, but after that itâs been a breeze. Now I can finally have my kitchen island back!
I bought a 1000 piece jigsaw, not realising quite how long it would take me! I ordered this roll on the spur of the moment and used it over the course of a week or so, continually unrolling and re-rolling it every time I had a spare half hour. It did a great job of storing the partially-completed puzzle. You need to keep the inflatable pillow quite firm and you need to press down slightly when rolling/unrolling the mat to keep the pieces in place but I would say it did a decent job of keeping 95% of my puzzle pieces in the correct place, and the other 5% moved only slightly and were easy to correct. Recommended.
We have built one puzzle on this mat that we had to roll up temporarily. We followed the directions and it rolled up well retaining the pieces in place. Stored for a while and then unrolled and continued working on the puzzle. The pieces stick quite well to the mat. The mat has completed puzzle size markings to make it easy to lay out the edge/corner pieces. A downsize is that the pieces are more difficult to slide and maneuver on the mat. Sometimes they catch the fiber. And, the puzzle is hard to keep flat when assembling.
