My son is required to have a nap mat for preschool but he no longer naps so I didnât want to spend a ton of money on something heâd lay on from time to time. Itâs a better quality than I expected and the minky side is nice and soft. My son is almost 5 and the size is good. Itâs easy to clean when he brings it home since it can be thrown right into the wash. Itâs easy to roll right up and has Velcro straps to keep it rolled. The pillow isnât super fluffy, but he doesnât care as he doesnât always sleep with a pillow at home. If the pillow is important to your child maybe you could buy a different one to put in the slot.
My son is not allowed to bring a pillow to school, and was struggling to fall asleep at naptime. I would check in on the daycare livestream camera and see him tossing and turning. I purchased this nap mat hoping it would make it easier for him to sleep – and it worked! The very first day he used it he was out like a light and slept the entire 2 hours of naptime at school.We have washed it several times and it is still soft, with no fraying. It is also very cute – highly recommend!
I absolutely love this! I even bought one for my niece as well as one for my son. I was skeptical about the material and even skeptical when it came in vacuum sealed but once I opened it and felt it, I knew this was a great purchase and had to get one for my niece as well! The blanket feels nice, warm and medium thick – kind of like a duvet – like a little airy but warm. the pillow stays fluffy and I didn’t even fluff it after opening it which you are advised to do. I washed it the next day after opening it and held it’s shape and structure – I did not however see the little paper name plate in the little plastic holder and when I got it out of the dryer, I had permanently stuck the paper to the plastic – no damage was done, no discoloration, I just won’t ever be able to put his name on it lol but no worries at all! still absolutely in love with this product!

I purchased this because my son definitely needed an upgrade on his nap mat. This one has a nice thickness to it and the attached blanket is nice and soft. I like how the pillow is removable. I deducted one star since the tag to write his name inside is not very secure. I washed the mat when it was delivered, and the tag had come out and fell apart. I was able to cut out a white piece of paper and write his name on it, but I will have to remove it each time I was it. Just a heads up. But overall, I am really happy with this mat and my son seems much more comfortable on it. He said, “This is nice and cozy mom”. 🙂
