I looked into basically every picnic blanket on Amazon. This has a great value, waterproof, and washable. Huge size as well!
Difficult to fold.
While this blanket is perfect. Itâs huge itâs easy to travel with and itâs waterproof. However the instructions donât work for the larger blanket.

1.4kg weight, love the bright colors and how compact it is when folded. Very spacious, I’d say up to 4 adults can sit comfortably and 2 can tan on it not pushing each other off. Perfect for picnics and beach. Still have to do the sand test, but looks like it would not be a challenge for this mat.
Smells like strong chemicals
I absolutely do not recommend purchasing these picnic blankets because they smell like strong nauseating chemicals. Even after airing the blankets out, they still smelled terrible. When I brought the blankets inside from attempting to air them out, my whole apartment smell like the chemicals/off gassing smell.
