EASY TO INSTALL: Pilot hole needs to be drilled in the wood or Metal Beam prior to installation. When mounting on wood, place two tight nuts and washers on top and tighten. When mounting on a metal beam, place one of the nuts and washers on top and the other on the other side of the beam and tighten. Exactly what you need for custom swings.
This product worked out great, build some gallows and swings for the kids. I am hoping to buy another set but the price increased quite a bit. All the information is written out and in the pictures.
Garbage
The so called safety clip broke resulting in my daughters swing breaking while she was swinging thus resulting in a broken arm!
Washers fall off
While this product is perfect for our needs, unfortunately the rubber washers on the shackle portion have already been breaking and falling off – while this doesn’t seem to affect the performance, it does create noise, which is not ideal for our purpose. :(The rubber washer have broken within two weeks of light to moderate use. We are trying to find a way to quiet them without dismantling or taking down ..
Lacking information
You don’t really get much info for installation. It doesn’t tell you what size bit you need for the hole you’ll need to drill to install them (it’s 5/16″ by the way as I had to find out by trial and error), and they don’t show you where the bolts and washers go. I’m assuming that one washer and nut go on each side of the beam? This would put the weight of the swing on the washer and nut instead of the end, so I’m hoping that it’s correct, rather than putting both washer/nuts on the end.
Could not remove second nut
I could not remove the second nut from either the hangers. I got a couple turns but both seized up. If I tried any harder the hanger would have bent and anticipated issues returning them so I stopped and repackaged them for return. Waste of time.

I like them 100%. They do exactly what they are supposed to which is handle hundreds of pounds of weight.Great product, easy to use (even having to drill holes through a 6″x4″x8 foot beam).Very happy.
good product. only issue is lenth size. i need to short lenth (15cm) but it’s ok.
We bought a swing from amazon and these are what we bought to secure it to the beam. It feels the most secure and puts my mind at ease. Plus my husband told me to get this so it goes all the way through the wood to be more secure.
