Weâve had these for a year now and theyâre as sturdy as ever after seeing a whole season of garden use, followed by being accidentally left under the snow and ice all winter (oops! ð ). Made with good materials – wood handle, metal tool end attached with metal bolts, and a plastic cap at the top of the handle.These are real tools in child size, which is super important for my 2 year old who gets frustrated with useless replica tools that canât actually do the job (nothing upsets my toddler quite like a shovel that canât dig, which is fair enough!). He wants to be able to do garden and yard work alongside his parents and these tools really facilitate that. Plus, because they actually work, the tools give him a chance to learn the skills to use them effectively.I canât say enough good things about these. Love them.

We love that these tools are made of real wood and metal, so our toddler can actually use them, and can actually help out! They are the perfect size for our tall two year old, and should work for him for awhile. We will then pass them onto his little sister when he has outgrown them, and their quality will probably outlive the use that our kids will get out of them! Very happy with these.
Money well spent
This is one of the best purchases I have ever made! The quality is great, brightly painted metal tools with fully wooden handles.My 1 and a half year old son is obsessed with them, his favorite time is when he’s in the garden with his Nana. Would 100% buy again!
METAL garden tools for kids
TL;DR: good quality, useable metal child-sized garden tools, just require supervision as they are metal and sharp!I didn’t realize when I ordered that these are real, metal garden tools for kids, NOT PLASTIC. They are great, but as they are metal, and sharp, they require close supervision for younger children. We got these for our 3yo to “help” us with yard and garden work, and I have to say they are good quality, useful tools appropriately sized for a young child. So far we have used the rake and the spade. They are sharp, so we had to do some coaching to keep the tools low to the ground, and required careful listening to instructions. If you are not confident your child will not wildly wave these around, I would look for a plastic set instead. If you feel your child will be able to listen and act with care with sharp tools, then they are great as they actually work, instead of being frustrating, breakable plastic.
I purchased this for my son about 6 months ago and we have got our moneys worth!He absolutely loves to help me and these were perfect for that.They have been left in the rain and never rusted, they have been used numerous different ways and are still holding up strong. I highly recommend this little toy!
I have a 3 and 6 year old. I bought this set because my husband and I have a large project weâre working on. The kids keep trying to use the adult tools. So I bought this set for them to share. Huge mistake. Theyâre constantly fighting over these. I shouldâve bought 2 sets. These tools are great. Perfect size for my 3 year old. A touch small for my 6 year old. But he still loves them. They seem sturdy so far. Theyâre holding up well after a couple of weeks of heavy use.

Needed rakes to clean up under bird feeders. Lightweight but sturdy with metal prongs they work well to spread birdseed under the feeders. Limited space but they are easy to hang on wall. As a short person, they handle well with get the job done.
