Seal is tight.
These boxes are the right size for me 12 and 16 year old lunches. Attached some pics for ref of what can fit. The first pic shows where the seal has separated. It makes it harder to close. The design is such that if you try to force the snaps closed when the lid isnât aligned right youâre going to mess the outer seal. It hasnât affected the compartment seals. Weâve been using for seven months. Their lunches kits havenât had a spill that needed to be cleaned all year! Totally recommend ðð½
Lid doesn’t shut after a few days use
After using for a few days and not putting in the dishwasher, the lid will barely close and the edges are lifted up. Not leak proof anymore.
Hard to close
itâs a good bento box, love the portions and itâs perfect for my daughters lunch, only issue is that itâs difficult to close sometimes.

The lids are hard to use
Everything with the product was as described. My kids loved the colors and the look of the boxes. Unfortunately after a few hand washes the lids are hard to close and leaves a gap. Nothing has leaked but almost like the lids are warping. My 4.5 year needs help opening and closing the lid.
Pros and cons
I do like the fact that each compartment seals individually. I thought the main compartment was larger but sadly was wrong. It does not give enough room for my 14 year olds lunch. Not great for sandwiches as they just donât fit. But works well for cheese and crackers.

No leaks, great portion very handy.Bought for lunches and we love it, i always hand wash, but I know I could use the dish washer for the container not the lid.Really the most important part is that they do nor leak.
Best bento boxes
I can fit lots of food in these. Enough to feed 12 and 14 year olds. Pro tipUse reusable cupcake liners to split the bigger compartments. These have lasted 2 years still look great.
It was great for school and big lunches, but my kids had a hard time closing them afterwards. But other than that they loved thd boxes and fight over which one is theirs!
Bought for my husband to use for work lunches. The bento box is near perfect. It really is leak proof which is not usually the case for traditional bento boxes. It allows various kinds of food in large enough portions for adults. And it is BPA free and more compact because of its layout than usual bento boxes which makes it easier to carry since – especially as it is leak proof – you can just slip it into a bookbag with your laptop and documents rather than carry an additional bag. If I could change just one thing, it would be that there would be a slot for an icepack you could slide directly into the body of the bento box.
I bought 4 large ones. My 2 kids get one for lunch and one for snack and theres always plenty of room left over. Could have used a mini for snack. Definitely no leaks! PHard to remove lids but my 5 year old can do it. Food still tastes great with no aromas from other compartments. (No olivesmell in their banana bread) Apparently their lunch is envied at school.
This brand has a few options in the size or shape. I prefer this one. I like that it comes with both a fork and spoon. The lids take some getting used to but, but they do not leak. Perfect for lunch bags or travel.
Pretty disappointed with this product. Purchased pack of 2, for 2 school aged children. Used for school lunches for less than a week. Hand washed the lids as per instructions. Cannot get the lid to lunchbox to seal properly, because the lid has bowed at all four corners (on both lunchboxes). Plus, itâs next to impossible for the kids to get the lid on at all.
