High precision
Reads very quickly (3-4 seconds) and consistently. The readings sometime seem a little low but come back the same when repeated, so that’s the most important part. Definitely the best oral thermometer I’ve used due to how fast it gives a reading. If you’re still using an old thermometer that takes 10-30 seconds to get a reading, you need to upgrade now!
Great Purchase
I had purchased one of those instant read thermometers about 6 months ago – you know, the type that you point to your head and you get an instant reading, well it turns out those aren’t so accurate. You can literally take your temp 3 times and get three different numbers.So, I did a bit more research and picked this thermometer to replace the one I purchased earlier. First of all, oral thermometers are considered the most accurate of all thermometers.This BIOS thermometer is excellent – First of all, the reading takes less than 4 seconds – – -if you are running a fever, then the LCD screen glows red, so there is NO guess work.I like the fact that it has a sleek storage container to keep the probe clean and protected. You can also pick different modes (Oral, Anal, or Armpit – all considered very accurate modes) and it has a memory of the last temperature taken.Very happy with this purchase and I really should have got this right off the bat.Its accurate, fast, and very easy to use.
Works as advertised.
Make sure to let the display clears off the last reading before you use it. (After powered to use). If not you are not sure what you see. It could be the last reading.
Not accurate / confusing to use
This thermometer works 1/10 times and when it take the temperature, it is incorrect.I have taken my sonâs temperature with it, followed by a hospital grade thermometer and the temperature was way off.It is also very confusing to use, will do a 10 sec countdown and then shows nothing, it ends up being in place for much longer than a âlongâ thermometer.Not a good purchase!

After trying a few thermometers that worked then stopped I can say this is one of the best ones. Going on 6 months and still works great ! Very accurate ! Easy to use ! Great price for the product

Its super fast to read the temperature which I love because my son doesnât like to wait too long with it up his butt (understandably) and the color indicator is a plus!
