Special sunscreen for coral in oceans
We purchased this based on a few areas that we will be visiting on our cruise as they require the special sunscreen lotion that keeps coral reefs safe. I have not used it yet, but Iâve heard great things about it and keeping our ocean safe, indeed, is a must.

I had no trouble whatsoever with this being in my suitcase traveling to Galapogos Islands because it is approved to be non interfering with the marine life on the islands. I have super sensitive skin and this was great coverage, no breakouts, no or minimal scent as far as I could tell. It was so easy to use in small spaces too because of no incredulous or nauseous scents.
Not good for sensitive skin
This product literally burned my kidsâ faces. I spoke to some friends who also used this, and they had the same experience. Extremely dry skin as a result of the zinc-based sunscreen. This caused extreme discomfort for days and lots of tears.

I love the idea, however, this leaves a white residue. Will not purchase again.
Stays on literally forever
This sunscreen is okay. Even though it’s a spray you still need to rub it in because it goes on really thick and white and still leaves a pretty thick white cast even after rubbing in. It is really hard to get off, which is good and bad. On the one side it stays on when sweating and swimming, on the other, I scrubbed twice in the shower with a loofah and I could still feel it on my skin when I got out.Overall, it protects from the sun, stays on even when wet, and fewer chemicals to worry about bleaching the reefs, but it has a heavy white cast, and it’s really hard to get off at the end of the day. I think the quality of sun protection is worth the cons, but the best sunscreen is the one you’ll use so if any of that sounds too uncomfortable for you then maybe try something else.
