I bought this camera to keep an eye on my pets while no one is home. This camera works great!!! The setup was so easy, you just plug it in and connect it to your wifi through the app and youâre set! The app is easy to navigate and allows you to move the camera around, talk through the camera, and take screenshots/screen recordings! Iâve had it for a while now and I canât complain for the price, quality is great! App also has the option to send you notifications for any sounds/movements which is helpful because itâs always accurate in catching them. A really great camera with everything you need at a great price!!!
Great camera with great features
I’ve been using this camera for about 3 months now and am very impressed with it for it’s price point. Recommended to many others to purchase.Pros: Easy to setup physically and in app, easy to use app interface, night vision is almost perfect, image quality is great, even when zooming in, motion detection is good (small animals, or animal with similar color to surrounding area can sometime not be sensed).Cons: can only be mounted on ceiling or sat on a flat surface, wall mounting can be done, but image won’t appear correct, would be great to have an option in software to rotate image 90 deg.Feedback: Would be great if there was an option in the software to set an away and at home status. This would allow for all or some notifications to turn on when away and off when set to at home or to disable recording when at home and only record when set to away.
App is glitchy with Samsung Galaxy S23
I’ve had this camera for a year now. I have it inside, but pointed out to my backyard. I had to turn the night vision off because the lights for it reflect off the glass and then I actually can’t see anything! But, as long as there’s a little light outside (e.g. street lamp), I can actually see more thru the camera app than I can looking at the same thing, same time, with my own eyes!I use an SD card and didn’t pay for a cloud subscription. And that records just fine. When there’s movement outside (like when the neighbourhood skunk visits at night), it starts recording. With the app, I can be away from home and still go back and see what it recorded hours ago. Or I can see it live.It’s quite a handy camera! The only downside is that after I got a new phone, the app kept crashing, constantly, that’s on a Samsung Galaxy S23. But the app still works really well on my old phone, Samsung Galaxy 9+. So I ended up keeping and using my old phone on wifi just for that one app. This is why I took a star off.I also wish the body was black, because the white also reflects off the window, and I ended up putting some black paper around the casing to avoid it and see better.
This camera does not re-center after recording an event. – Update * BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE *
I encountered two problems with this camera :1) When traking is on, the camera does not re-center after an event.I have two doors, East side and West side.If somebody enters at the East side and goes in enough to activate the camera, the camera will track him. If that person leave using the East side door, the event will end with the camera completely facing East and it will never recenter.If minutes later somebody enters using the West door, the camera will never see him because it is now facing in the opposite direction.The only workaround I found to this security problem would be to reset the PTZ manually after every event alerts that I receive and this is very annoying.I contacted Blurams about this and they say it is the expected behavior at the time and the only workaround is to manually reset the PTZ everytime.2) The vertical movement of the lens is inconsistent/buggySometimes when I turn off the camera, the lens just goes a little upward, but stop before being hidden. (Privacy issue)Sometimes when I turn on the camera, the status light turns on, but the lens stays completely hidden (as if the camera was off), or stays patially hidden toward the ceiling.There seems to be a problem with the vertical movement of the lens if it stays hidden when the camera is on, or stays visible when the camera is off.I contacted Blurams about this issue and haven’t got any response yet.———Update———When you open a request with Blurams they take their time to answer. They tell you they will update the request within 24 to 48 hours, but from my experience sometimes it took over 5 days to get an update.And the worst part is that it went like this… (With long delay for every response from Blurams) :Blurams : Please reset the camera to fix the issue;Me : I already tried that and it did not fix the issue;Blurams : Please reset the camera and send pictures of the problem;Me : I already reset the camera and still have the problem. Here are the pictures;Blurams : Please reset the camera and send your invoice;Me : I already reset the camera. Here is the invoice;Blurams : Please reset the camera to fix the issue;Me : ?!?!?!? Forget about it I will just return it to Amazon if you don’t have a better answer;Blurams : They never updated the ticket after that!So I guess that if you do not get a defective unit this camera could be good, but if you encounter any kind of problem be aware that the customer service is very very very bad… Just RESET the camera 😉

Love this simple camera that gives great clarity, you can control the rotation for a wider view, simple setup, easy 2 way communication, even has an alarm feature if you need it. If you have smaller active children or just personal preference you can enable the âfollow modeâ so the camera will track and follow the movements. They even have an app to view/ manage all devices, along with recording capabilities. Love the ease to use and more affordable options. Have 3 cameras in the house and a doorbell camera that has come in handy many times.

Itâs really bad camera. I was expecting better color quality of the camera. Picture quality is very bad. Not recommended at all. Your advertisement shows completely different image than actual picture quality. This is misleading your customers.
