Provides a little cool so to not bother a kid
A boo boo ice pack that will provide some cooling relief without being icy cold against your childâs skin.The pack is plastic on the front showing the gel beads and cute face. The back is a thicker velvety material to reduce cold contact.The strap is sewn into the pack for strength when wearing, however the ears were sewn on after and have a raw exposed edge.Once frozen the pack does become hardened as expected and does produce a bit of cool from the backside and a lot of cold from the front.As this is marketed being for kids the strap is way too big. The Velcro is the nice no scratch style, but doesnât provide much in the way of sizing choices and there for doesnât fit around my 3-4 yo (itâs even loose on my 38F).More Velcro can be added or the strap can be tied, but the sizing is for adults not kids.The pack however is sized for a kid and does do its job!
Cute icepack for kids
This is a little larger than I thought it would be, but is a nice little icepack for those small bumps that are frequent with active kids. It is less flexible when chilled in the freezer, which is to be expected. It has a soft material on the back of the panda face so you don’t have the cold plastic directly on the skin. The strap is good for holding it in place on the head, but would be too big to hold it on an arm or leg of a smaller child. You can use it for heat therapy as well by placing in hot water to warm up.
Cute and can be worn while moving around – excellent buy
I got this little ice/heat pack as it comes with straps so it stays on. It is smaller to fit kids and has a cute panda face – not to underestimated with a sick kid. You can chuck it in the freezer to have a cold pack on hand, and you can also heat it in the microwave for heat. There is a soft jersey backing so it is nice against the face, and kids can move around when they are using it instead of having to stay in bed. For the price it is a great item to have around, and can easily have a couple for swapping out or keeping one for cold and one for hot. Great buy.
cute ice pack
I got the ice pack for use at school as kids are always hurting themselves and we go through so many of the 1 time use ones and wanted to save money. So thought would give this a try. It was smaller then expected and a little different. It helped them as it was cool but we didn’t get a chance to freeze it up as needed before we could do that. It is very cute looking.Sadly, cause it is so cute, that the first student took it and never came back and is now lost. So I will have to get more or something else.
Magic boo-boo fix
This ice pack for kids is great and works like a charm. The elastic band makes it a lot easier trying to keep the pack on, especially when the kids won’t stop moving around. The small gel beads inside help keep the pack cold but not uncomfortable. The pack is cute in design and is immediately appealing to kids, especially when they are hysterical over an injury (however big or small) and something about that has a calming effect to it. It’s worked well for us and I definitely need to order more to have on hand.
The strap is convenient
This is a very cute little ice pack and the strap makes it super convenient to ice without constantly needing to hold it or freeze your fingers off. The fleece on the back is nice to help prevent the pack from fleeing too cold or like you’re getting freezer burn and it doesn’t get damp or gross feeling. However, I really wanted to love this, but I’m on the fence about it for a couple of reasons.The first is a bit nitpicky but I had no idea what it was by the box. I was super confused because I thought it was a different product instead of the ice pack. The pack itself freezes very quickly but the cold lasts approximately 23 minutes before you feel nothing on the fleece side and need to flip to the vinyl side for a little bit of extra cold that lasts another 7-ish minutes. I didn’t feel like it lasted a very long time before it became room temp again. There is a strong vinyl smell, so it needs airing out for sure, and I’m not super sure how to wash it with the fleece back.Despite that, the pack doesn’t perform badly. It soothes aches well without feeling like you got frostbite, but I just wish it lasted longer.
A super cute little ice pack
This is a great way to always have an ice pack around, and I love how cute and small it is. It buckles up so you can put it on babies if they need it, and even kids would keep it on. I love the panda on it, and it freezes pretty quickly. Definitely recommend if you need it.
