Excellent For Protecting Sore Nipples
These are a God send. I donât know about the healing properties of silver but the coolness of the buds is great, especially if you keep them in the refrigerator. They really help calm inflamed, sore nipples. What I appreciate is that they act as a shield to protect sensitive nipple from rubbing on fabric and causing more pain. Itâs nice to have a barrier there to protect from friction. You can just put your absorbent nursing pads over top of them. The cups are comfortable and they do an excellent job of protecting sore nipples. I really like them.

I recently ordered these 999 silver nursing cups from brand BOOBYBUDS because not only did I really love the name BOOBYBUDS, but my baby momma’s buds were indeed chafing against the inside of her maternity wear. Our baby is a monster, and literally chews unceremoniously on her poor nips at every available opportunity, leaving her poor lady lumps so sensitive she can hardly move without wincing in pain.I had heard about the miracles of silver nursing cups as a way to remedy this mammary maiming situation, and upon discovering for ourselves that the rumours are true, neither of us have been disappointed. It now seems plausible that she will no longer hold a grudge against our child; one that would be so equally monstrous in scale, that she would never allow another to suckle on her BOOBYBUDS ever again. And that would be a travesty.Once more, and with feeling: BOOBYBUDS. 5 very pointed stars.
States come with silicone rings, and it did not.
Product description states silicone ring come with product. They do not. I really need these, and am now disappointed in my purchase. Order the real one.
Iâm comparing three different brands and two sizes of silver covers. Momcozy in Regular and XL, BoobyBuds in Regular and XL, and Petit Journey in Regular.Interestingly, all three brands appear to have basically identical size and shape for their regular and XL sized covers. Momcozy only includes the silver cover, Petit Journey comes with the silver cover embedded in a huge silicone piece, and the BoobyBuds comes with an optional silicone ring.The silver covers are so thin in all brands that theyâre incredibly easy to dent, and the thin edges can dig into your skin. The XL sizes extend further out towards the edges, and since they cover more area, spread out any pressure a lot better and dig less. The Petit Journey silicone cover also helps, though the silicone part adds significant weight and bulk. Interestingly, all the Regular size ones were so identical that I could put any of them in the Petite Journey covers. I didn’t have much luck with the o-ring silicone from BoobyBuds; it fit very awkwardly and ended up leaving a circular depression in my tissue.As far as looks, theyâre all going to look weird. The Petit Journey silicone cover is slightly less pointy, but still quite weirdly visible.Personally, I ended up switching between the Petit Journey with silicone cover and the XL of the other two brands. The XLs without silicone were actually slightly more comfortable for me personally as long as I wasnât wearing a super tight bra, and also more silver was in contact with my skin, and I felt that worked a bit better. But they were also more delicate and pointy. If I needed to go out in public and feel more secure, Iâd wear the Petit Journey with the silicone cover. It was nice to have multiples to immediately rotate them when they’re dirty.I do definitely recommend silver covers in general, just select your size/design carefully. In BoobyBuds, I’d definitely recommend the larger sizes for wearing comfort.

I bought it for my wife and she was very pleased. She says it is very comfortable to use with the silicone cover. She no longer worries about breastfeeding.
I sent these to my daughter in law to use as shes a new 1st time mom and pumping. The only thing she said adverse was that they looked like they were dirty and needed cleaned. I advised cleaning them with a soft cloth to see if that helped. Said they weren’t tarnished but looked like they were rubbed in dirt and packaged up and shipped off. She hasn’t used them yet but the size seems fitting for her size.
