Really crisp video and audio, easy setup
It only took a few minutes to set up the camera. I bought two and it worked perfectly fine. I could see 360 degrees around the room and hear the audio feedback when I spoke into the mic on the app. Great value for what youâre paying for. Will definitely buy more in future when I need more cameras to watch my dog.

I bought it to monitor my grandson while he is sleeping in a pitch black room. the picture quality is not worse than some baby video monitors that cost couple hundred dollars. I highly recommend it camera.
Wonât save to SD card, must pay for cloud
Camera is nice and good picture quality and easy to set up but it wonât allow to chose to trigger pet only and allow to record to SD card. Will only let me do with a cloud paid subscription. Only lets me watch live. Wonât record anything. Needed to monitor my cats food and water intake at night. Will be returning.

Camera has nice clear picture. Audio is great if you want to yell at a misbehaving pet or parent. Problem is camera frequently tracks across our ceiling for no apparent reason. Picture freezes often so we missed the event we bought the camera to record. Eventually found our culprit on camera but took 3 days. We will probably buy a better quality camera – my husband likes to be able to see me when he calls from on the road.

A good camera
I use the camera to keep an eye on my cats and the interior back of my house. I don’t use the audio as my cats playing sound like they are trying to become a single cat household, but it does work well. The video is clear, even though my cats look similar I can tell them apart in the video, even in the dark. The unit itself is unobtrusive and is easy to place on a shelf or ledge to get a good view without blatantly saying here I am look at me. The app is easy to use, and I prefer using a micro SD and re-recording as needed.

I’ve been using this camera for about a month now and have found it works very well for my needs.The initial setup was a piece of cake, just downloading the app, quickly and easily linking the camera, and adding it to my Wi-Fi network. All of this went without an issue.I’m using this with an SD card and have set it to only record when movement is detected to make the best use of the SD card’s capacity, although you can set it to record 24/7 if you wish. With it set to record movement events only, it works incredibly well, picking up my dogs and humans as soon as they enter the frame.I find the picture quality excellent in both light and dark conditions. The night vision functionality works incredibly well indoors, illuminating the entire covered area even in complete darkness.I haven’t subscribed to the cloud service, so I can’t comment on pet detection, vehicle detection, or image anomaly patrol. As mentioned, I just use it with an SD card.I find playing back recorded video works well, with only a little initial lag while it streams, but only for a second or so.A handy feature is the ability to put it in privacy mode, where the lens is covered, so you can be sure itâs not recording. This can easily be turned on and off via the app.To summarise, this is an excellent value camera with great functionality and picture quality.
If like me you’re keen on home security, as well as what your pets are doing when you aren’t home or asleep, then motion triggered/tracking camera are a great idea, and even better if you can control the lens direction remotely too. Hence I was keen to check this out.First impressions are pretty good, the camera is nice and compact, and seems well manufactured. Powering up is via USB type B, which is not great when everything now should be USB Type C, but there’s a lead and plug supplied. The instructions are clear and tell you the app you need to download and how to setup. There is an annoying voice however that nags you to connect!Positivesâ – Picture quality and detail is very good with 2k resolutionâ – Two way voice isn’t too bad (depends on network quality either end)â – First smart device I’ve has that can use 5Ghz WIFIâ – Notifications are quite responsiveâ – Pretty easy to setup using the Boykeep appâ – Has the usual features for cameras, motion tracking, night vision etcâ – Panning and tilting has a full range of motionâ – Can do panoramic picturesâ – Takes MicroSD cards, so no need to buy a subscriptionNot So Goodsâ – Annoying voice waiting for connection until you set it upâ – Panning around on the live view is quite laggy and prone to overshootingOverall this is a pretty decent camera, albeit it has a couple of fairly minor annoying bits, but on the whole this is one of the better ones out there, especially as you don’t need an subscription to the cloud services to record, hence I would recommend.
This is a decent camera for when you leave your little ones – furry or otherwise – home alone and need that peace of mind.
