I’m not sure how well these will fit, but they’re good quality.
Slipper socks are probably one of the best inventions of all time, especially for kids. When our kids were small we had a terrible time trying to keep socks on them in the winter on our cold floors and I’m pretty sure had these been around, they would have kept them on. Today however, it’s our grandchildren that get to enjoy all these new and modern creations.These slipper socks, when it comes to quality, are absolutely great. They’re super soft, really well padded, really fluffy inside, and they even have grippies on the bottom. Oh, and they’re cute.The only thing about these slipper socks that I have any concerns about are the fit or the shape of them. One issue I always had with our kids, when they did wear socks, was their socks sliding off. These slipper socks seem to be fashioned or made in a way that I suspect they will have the same problem. I can’t say for sure because it’s possible that the fluff on the inside is going to play a role but we’ll see.Despite that, as I said, these slipper socks are really good quality, really thick and wonderful and I’m sure they will be super comfortable to wear. I’m giving them five stars but I will come back and update if there is a problem with them staying on.
Comfy Christmas Stocking Stuffers
Whether we celebrate Christmas at our house or at the homes of one of our children, one thing is certain, outdoor activities will be part of the celebrations. These âreading socksâ with their plush liners are an ideal stocking stuffer knowing that, after skating, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, or snowmobiling, our grandkids will all likely be suffering from cold toes.These Christmas themed socks (I ordered the set with the reindeer, the Santa, and the candy canes) will surely impress those who receive them. They make ideal slippers/loungers for warming up and for hanging around the house without ever having to worry about cold floors. The bright, nicely detailed graphics on the socks are well done and feature crisp detailing and a Christmassy selection of colours; the fluffy tops are a perfect touch and finish the look nicely. The socks certainly have high visual appeal!My wife and I really appreciate the grips on the bottom of the socks which provide an added measure of safety on slippery floors. The socks fit comfortably; they have enough elasticity to provide a nicely tailored fit without being tight. The toes appear to be well reinforced. According to the product page, the socks should be hand washed in cold water; there are no instructions regarding drying although we typically line dry items such as this rather than risk having them shrink in the dryer. They should not be ironed.The socks have no product information tags attached to them although the product page states that they are a blend of cotton, polyester and spandex. They arrive vacuum packed in a plastic bag with no additional information past the fact that they were âmade in Chinaâ.While the socks have a nice appearance, I am a little concerned that the thermal liners seem rather thin and likely to snag or to mat after they are washed. It also would have been nice had the Santa depicted on the socks been a little more cheerful (heâs got a bit of a dour frown on his face).Our granddaughters and grandsons will all love these socks! The seasonal colours and graphics and will certainly appeal as will the comfy plushness the socks offer; I am hoping that they can stand up to the rigorous wear they are likely to receive. While, at their current price of $29 CAD, these socks are quite pricey, there is no question that they would make perfect stocking stuffers. Recommended.
Soft, fuzzy, silicone grips.
These came vacuum packed, and are super fuzzy, and soft adding to the comfort. They are well made and come with non slip silicone patches built into the sole, which adds comfort and a useful feature, if you like walking around with socks on tile, for example. This can also add a non slip feature to your feet for shoes, or slippers if you need it. The designs are pleasing with appropriate colors, to our liking. Fun, colourful house socks
Our floors are cold in winter and my six year old does not like wearing slippers. These socks fit him well. The designs are engaging so he has incentive to keep them on.The socks are made from artificial fibers. His feet sweat a bit in them. The sherpa-like interior fabric tends to get gray and pile with repeated washing, however they are much better quality then a similar pair I purchased at the dollar store (not for a dollar!).These will not work well as regular socks but are an option for replacing slippers.
Perfect for winter
These are great winter socks for wearing around the house.- They have fun winter animal designs that kids would love.- Sizing is accurate.- They are very thick with a very fluffy/thick/long sherpa lining for extra warmth. Both the inside and the outside are super soft.- The little rubber grips on the bottom are shaped like paw prints, which is a nice touch! The grips feel like they are securely attached, so hopefully they won’t come off with repeated wear.- They are best for around the house because they might be a bit hard to get in and out of boots due to their thickness and the little grippers.Highly recommend!
