Not worth it!
The pen doesnât work and there is not enough activities. Boring
I bought this book for my toddler, who currently is still a bit young to use it on his own. But I am so excited already for when heâll be a bit older to use it as an activity for church or other places heâll need to sit still for a while. It has nice pictures, great variety of activities. Some pages do need to be wiped with something wet in order for the line to not be visible at all after using the marker and eraser. But still a great purchase!
This activity book is wonderful. My daughter loves it. It keeps her engaged while teaching her aspects of the Bible as well as the learning skills she needs to grow.
I love the dry erase and the spiral bound. It’s sturdy and will last through all 3 of my kids. But I am disappointed in the content. Everything is Bible themed, but a lot of it requires reading that a preschool/kinder kid won’t have, and yet the activities themselves aren’t challenging enough for a 1st-3rd grader. Plus it seems to be more academic content with Bible terms rather than actually learning any of the Bible stories. It will have a dove as a dot to dot counting up to 30 but nothing in the directions or pictures indicating what role doves or even birds have played in the Bible. And the word tracing is the same – something like Faith or Jesus but it doesn’t correlate to anything on the page. They could have had a small paragraph to read and trace the correct word into the blank or match each word to a picture, etc. If I wanted my kid to do an academic workbook, I would buy one. I wanted this as a quiet activity for church but it’s too hard for my youngest and my middle doesn’t want it because it feels like school.
I got all of these for my 4 year old granddaughter, and she loves them! She needs a bit of help with them, but will enjoy them for several years!
