With its durable steel frame design and easy glide wheels, the Britax car seat travel cart can be used with children harnessed in car seats for short travel distances. Sturdy and holds the seats perfectly.
Bought two of these to fit our Clek Foonf car seats. They saved our backs and allowed us glad roll the kids around with no issues. Seats can easily be put on the carrier, can be rolled down the plane isle. They are fantastic and well worth the cost.
Life saver, Used with Cosco next
I was debating getting this for a while and I’m so glad that I did. I have now used it on several plane rides with my 2 year old with her Cosco scerena next convertible car seat. I will be purchasing another one for my second kiddo.Pros: very light. Makes it super easy to transport car seat in the airport. Folds up nice to put in over head storage. Can use it kind of like a stroller to strap your kiddo in and not having to bring a whole stroller AND a car seat.Cons: I found it difficult to get a good fit with the Cosco scerena next as it doesn’t sit quite flat like other car seats do. It takes a bit of work but I can get it to fit on there decently, but hard. I might not have this problem with a different car seat, but I have not tested another one out yet. It is a bit hard to make sharper turns as it will tip.ETA: I have now tried it with the evenflo titan 65 and is also a bit difficult to secure nicely, but again, not a flat based car seat.Overall a great purchase and does make my life easier hauling around 2 kids under 2, bags and a car seat.
Convenient and easy to use
Great for travel through airport, folds up small to fit in overhead or be packed for gate check. Fit inside a car seat bag with car seat.
Works with Clek Foonf!
We took this on 5 plane rides thus far in a month and it works fantastic. We have received tons of praise with it being able to fit ride down the isle of the plane with a clek foonf attached and my daughter riding in it.We simply arrived at the airport took the base off and the antirebound bar to make it a forward facing seat and it clicked right into place. Easy peasy lemon squeeze ð as my daughter says!It folds down super fast and fits up in the airplane overhead storage.Would 100% purchase again.
Worthwhile investment for travel
Used this with our clek filo car seat last weekend for a flight to LA. Was great in terms of transport of the seat and my daughter loved climbing in her seat and being rolled around the airport. Being as the filo seat is very narrow, we managed to wheel the seat and trolley through the air plane aisles to install our car seat on to the plane and store this in the overhead bin.I did find the metal to be a bit weak. Not sure how many uses we will manage to get out of it before it breaks. Mind you our car seat is a heavy one and my daughter is almost 40lbs.The other thing that kept me from giving this 5 stars was the fact that our car seat kept slipping from the base and tilting to one side at times. This was usually when daughter wasnât sitting in it so not so much a safety concern but more of a nusuance. Could be our car seat or our installation but we checked our installation multiple times.
Perfect for car seat
This product is light but strong enoughWe travelled with it and our child. No disappointmentPrice is fair and product fits the purposes
sadly not a good as we hoped for
WE have been using it to roll our Britax childseat to the nearest car sharing facility which is 250 meters away from home, back and forth, about once or twice a week at most. It lasted less than 3 months. The stopper inside one of the telescoping arm broke, making it now very difficult to use without having to constently putting the arm back in place. Rollers are is of good quality. works very well with the seat. But the balance between sturdiness and weight has not been successfully struck here. I hardly see how with such little use, this travel cart would last a reasonable amount of time. The concept was promissing but we can’t honestly recommend it.
Very good, made travel much easier
the car seat cart made my recent trip with my young child accross the country much easier. from the car to the plane, i was able to roll the car seat and baby along, and after boarding it fit easily in thr over head bin. Lightweight and folds down for easy storage under the crib at home.I would recomend it to anyone travelling with a child in a car seat to eliminate the need for a stroller at the airport.
LLego bien el carrito, para los que tenemos sillas de la marca Britax funciona bien por que las sillas traen unas muescas por la parte de abajo que sirven para que no resbale la silla de un lado a otro.
My third child was a lot bigger in size than my previous two, and grew out of the traditional infant car seat before 4 months. It had also been 7 years since I had my 2nd child, so I did the whole car seat research thing and ended up buying a Diono Radian RXT carseat on Amazon also. This is the carseat I used with this travel cart, I highly recommend both! This travel cart is very basic, easy to use, and not too expensive. I have used it on about 10 different travel trips with my son, who is now 16 months. If you are traveling by air and need to bring a carseat for whatever reason (i.e. you want to have it to use on the plane, you need it for a vehicle when you arrive at your destination, etc.) With the car seat attached to the travel cart you can either pull it behind you (just like luggage!) or push it in front of you, either way works. With the car seat attached, this cart is sturdy and does not tip over in any direction, with or without my child in it. I do not know if this is because the car seat I use is a steel frame (heavy!) car seat. Funny thing is, the car seat I use falls backward if I stand it up by itself without using the cart.I don’t typically need to bring my big stroller on travel trips unless I need my son to be able to sleep in it (Disneyland trip we took when he was 3 months old). They are a real pain to travel with (going through airport security, breaking down appropriately to gate check, time consuming overall when traveling through busy airports). With the car seat attached to the travel cart, I wheel my kid from drop-off at the airport to airport security, I take him out of the seat, lower the travel cart handle and lay the car seat with the travel cart attached onto the xray belt and the whole thing fits through the xray machine (unless a friendly TSA agent offers to hand wand/check it, which you can also ask for), I walk through the security scanner then my son walks through the security scanner himself to me, I put him in his seat, get my shoes back on and collect my other items from the xray belt, and wheel him all the way onto the plane to our assigned row/seats. Some flight attendants will try to tell you that this is not going to fit down the aisle, just politely smile and explain that it will. I recommend wheeling your child behind you, that way you can lower travel cart handle, unlatch the car seat from the cart, the cart will automatically fold flat onto the floor, pick up the car seat with the kid in it, place in seat and buckle, pick up travel cart and place in your overhead storage compartment. This takes a lot of strength if your kid is a chunk like mine and/or if your car seat is heavy. I have received many compliments on how awesome this process is, and many people have asked me where I got my car seat/travel cart. I really like using the car seat on the plane because it lets my kid know that he has to stay in it, and he can sleep in it on the plane. Which is great for us because we live in Alaska and flights are long. This is also an awesome thing to have/use when switching planes! If you want to travel with your child under 2 on your lap but you need to bring your car seat to have at your destination, you can still use the travel cart to travel to go all the way to the plane and just gate check it with it attached and the handle lowered. A lot of times if this happens and the flights not full, they will let you bring it on the plane and use it, giving your infant a free seat. Another great thing about this travel cart is that when the handle is fully extended and attached to a car seat, you can sling a purse or a diaper bag on it just like a stroller.
Even though it was expensive just worth it to transport our child’s car seat. As our child is disabled it is good for sitting him in around the airport as it’s safe and secure and our car seat is britax.
This is perfect for traveling! Initially got it to haul my toddlers car seat but with a mishap at the airport I used it to haul not only his car seat but my infants car seat and diaper bag! It withstood all the weight and still functioned with ease. The wheels glide effortlessly. I was able to roll everything down the aisle of the plane as well. It is compact enough to fit in the overhead compartment
Nos fue muy práctico en nuestro viaje, sobre todo porque rentamos auto y no tuvimos que pagar asiento para bebe.
