Perfect for on the go
Love this, single handed folding to the light weight of the stroller. it doesn’t take much space and easy to bring on the plane. Great quality, and the baby loves using it. 10/10
Really functional and easy to use
Folds & opens easily, hardly takes up any space
It is a phenomenal travel stroller
This stroller proved to be a life saver for us with out 9 month old kid as we took it to 1 month trip changing 6 flights. It held its shape and was so easy to carry in the flight itself and it fit easily in overhead cabin (even though the crew sometimes didn’t let us take it in). The maneuverability is awesome and it is sturdy for its size and weight. Only gripe I had was the fabric got wrinkled from one side (cushion of the stroller). The single handed open/close works great as well.. even though the button gets little hard to press over time but with little pressure it was fine for me.. but my wife had little trouble. Even though it’s costly but trust me, you will not regret even a single bit once you use this stroller and put it to test. Cheers to the Bugaboo team.
Love the one hand open/close
The butterfly comes exactly as advertised and was so easy to put together out of the box. Itâs compact, lightweight and easy to open and close with one hand. We love using it on the go with both our baby and toddler as the seat and straps are easy to adjust to both kidsâ heights. The seat padding is also nice and soft for the kids and can be removed to wash! I like that my toddler fits so well and doesnât look cramped at all. The bonus is that the leg rest is already included in the box. We canât wait to bring it on future family vacations.
Convenient, portable stroller.
Light and convenient. Best stroller for travels.
Light, durable, as easy to maneuver
Aptly named, the Bugaboo butterfly folds and unfolds seamlessly with one handed push of a button! It’s light and very durable with a cozy seat, 5 point harness and adjustable foot rest for comfort. This compact stroller easily fits through narrow doorways and tight spaces but has plenty of room for our son and great undercarriage storage for a compact unit. It came standard with a water proof see through cover for those rainy days, and the sunshade has extra extension to keep our little guy out of the direct sunlight while providing ventilation on hot days and easy viewing from above. The built in carry strap makes transporting this unit very convenient. It saves us so much trunk space and we can’t wait to take it on vacation with us.
Not for tall people
I researched every stroller out there in the last week. We were looking for something to take on the road trip to Florida and the airplane to Europe. Ideally, I wanted something comfortable to handle European curbs and pack neatly in the car to leave more space for luggage. I also wanted to be able to take it as a carry-on on board. Bugaboo Butterfly looked like it hit all the checkboxes and was amazing,So, after visiting stores, I learned that Bugaboo Butterfly will not go on many airlines and will be checked in at the gate as it does not fold as small as the company advertises. The image above shows Bugaboo butterfly folded next to Peg Perego Selfie – and as you can see they are not that different. In fact, Peg Perego selfie is MUCH lighter than Butterfly. Most importantly, the wheel position on the butterfly is so close that both my husband and I kept kicking the wheels when we walked. We both are over 175 cm tall.According to the sales associate, the only strollers that could go on board of the airplane (that they had in store) are Munchkin Sparrow and Cybex Libelle – She told us that these would be great for the flight itself, but may be bumpy during the long city excursions where the baby will practically live in the stroller. We ended up going with Peg Perego Selfie this year because we prioritized the ability to dock our existing car seat on it. It also looked comfortable. We don’t mind gate check-in; this is how we travelled in the past when my firstborn was a baby and never had issues. Next year, when she is out of the car seat, I might consider Cybex Libelle. Hard pass on Bugaboo Butterfly though.
Stroller beauty
Nice ð check it it out, you will not regret it
As a mom whoâs constantly on the move, I love the Bugaboo Butterfly stroller! Itâs super lightweight at just 16 lbs, folds up quickly with one hand, and is compact enough to fit in airplane overhead binsâperfect for travel! The seat is spacious and comfy, making it great for naps, and the stroller glides smoothly on all surfaces. I also appreciate the large storage basket and the full-coverage canopy for sun protection. The only small downside is that it doesnât lay completely flat, but overall, itâs been fantastic for our adventures!
This is a wonderful stroller, folds with one hand! Huge cap! Everything comes off and can be washe!
Best compact stroller ever! It fits in the floorboard space of the back (as well as in the trunk of a small car). Easy open and close! Light weight. The ride is smooth but doesn’t handle uneven pavement well. No assembly required, came ready to go straight out of the box. Love, love, love that the straps naturally stick up. Makes putting him in so easy since in not fishing under him for straps. Basket isn’t anything to get excited about, but definitely big enough for diaper bag. I often take this when my mom and I go shopping. He loves to run and this fits easily folded in the cart (leaving plenty of room for stuff) while I chase him but comes back out if he becomes a handful or gets tired. He prefers it to the cart. Son is 2 and about 36 in. Still plenty of room between canopy and his head!Cons: It is always in a reclined position, does not sit straight up which my son doesn’t like. It does recline quite a bit if baby falls asleep (mine doesn’t so not really a feature we use). Foot/leg rest is really adjustable but fabric is tight. I always feel like I’m going to bust it when folding in or out to fold stroller.Bottom line is it’s a versatile, lightweight compact stroller that rides smooth yet can fit in tight spaces. Perfect if you have a small car or value trunk space like me. It’s not good off-road but is a smooth push on even ground.
We use our Uppababy Cruz V2 as our regular stroller, but we love this Buggaboo Butterfly! The size is amazing and fits compactly in the trunk of our CR-V, so we just keep it there for unplanned shopping trips and such. The ride is smooth and it’s comfortable to push for my husband (6’0″) and I (5’8″). The wheel base is a little narrow in the back, but that’s what makes it so compact when folded. I could see how it would be easy to tip, but you just have to be careful and not make sudden tight turns. We loop our hands through the safety strap when pushing on hills or in busy areas. We really like the buckle and the fact that they kind of spring away from the seat, which makes it easy to buckle in a wiggly toddler. I also like that each strap buckles on it’s own.I thought I wouldn’t like the lack of a true peekaboo window on the canopy, but I actually don’t mind it at all. If I want to see my daughter, I just unzip the expander and look at her through the mesh panel.I like the reclining mechanism of the stroller seat, and my favorite thing about it is how tall the seat back is! Our toddler is tall for her age and so many other travel strollers have seat backs that looked uncomfortable for her. This one works really well for her! The footrest is also really nice to have so she can prop up her tired legs.I can’t bring myself to pay $39 for a cupholder, but I do like the bumper bar accessory. It also comes with a rain cover, which is nice for those of us in the PNW.I would highly recommend this for those looking for a compact but high-end stroller. We’re looking forward to using it for plane travel soon.
Perfekt für unterwegs. Sehr gute Qualität und wirklich mit einer Hand einfach auf und wieder zu zuklappen. Passt bei Flügen auch in das Ablagefach. Sehr zufrieden
