Strong magnets and feels great! Great turning, but the center caps are really hard to get to for adjusting, but thatâs a good thing if youâre caps fall off. The best part is the dual adjustment, and bonus that it came with a case and bag!
I have been a longtime fan of GAN puzzles. GAN always has premium puzzles and this Megaminx is no exception. First of all, the puzzle has a supreme build quality with pieces being held together well, but not too tight or tense which allows the puzzle to be turned quickly and easily. The puzzle comes in premium packaging with an adjustment tool, instructions for adjusting the puzzle and for solving the puzzle, and a cloth bag for storing the puzzle. It’s also a surprisingly lightweight puzzle with a gorgeous glossy finish. I personally prefer the frosted coating as it allows me additional gripping to keep the puzzle from slipping out of my hands. Additionally, there are a series of magnets that guides the sections into place. This is a very fast and efficient puzzle and perfect for speed cubers!
The package includes the GAN Megaminx, a ball case, a black cube bag, the 12 tensioning insert with tools, and a tutorial manual. The cube is super smooth, and light compared to all my other Megaminxes. It is even lighter than my non-magnetic Megaminx. With the ball case holding the Megaminx, putting the ball in the bag is challenging. I managed to put the ball inside the bag, but I donât think it is designed to do it. It is the best Megaminx you could get, and I highly recommend it.
This is a puzzle cube of extraordinary proportions. It’s got twelve sides! Yeah, twelve. The turning is smooth and easy, but has magnets to create a solid stop at the right points. Its insane and challenging and I’m going to be trying to solve it forever.
