Reviews

  1. It turns really well and is so far the go to for speed cubing! The UV and magnets feel great. Like other MoYu cubes it feels a little blocky, but corner cutting is great.

  2. This is a review for the AuSu V7 4×4 cube. We got the cube today, it comes in a lovely ‘luxury’ style box with a small accessories compartment (which includes a tension key for adjusting the cube, solving instructions in English and Chinese, and a couple of neat cardboard Team Moyu cards). The cube seems to be high quality in its construction. We haven’t used a 4×4 cube before, so it is hard to make a strict comparison. We have the ‘Monster Go’ and ‘Swift Block’ 3×3 cubes, and have also used some cheaper low quality cubes and the classic Rubix cube from the 80s. Compared to the Swift Block and the Monster Go cubes mentioned, the plastic on this Moyu 4×4 cube is more of a slick, shiny plastic, and I personally don’t like it as well. Others might like it better, I don’t know. The action on the cube seems good, it is smooth and consistent, but feels less smooth than the Monster Go cube and less crisp than the Swift Block. The center layers of the 4×4 cube are also noticeably more stiff than the outer layers when you turn them, I’m not sure if this is a feature or an imperfection tbh. This Moyu 4×4 cube is noticeably small, approximately the same size as a standard 3×3 cube, so it is a very nice size and feels in the hand like it is just another 3X3 cube. Weight is also about the same as a 3×3 cube.
