Love Burt’s Bees but …
I use a lot of Burt’s Bees products and they are fantastic.Not so impressed with this one.Find it is hyped in its ads more than what it actually does. I do not find anything special about it at all.Truly disappointed.
Not the same formula.
This “new” product does not have comfrey as part of its formulation. The original does. At a minimum, it is a good moisturizer. The comfrey has a very good healing effect on scaley skin, pimples, and other skin ailments. Problem is comfrey is toxic to the liver, and can cause complications. It should never be applied to open wounds or skin abrasions. Comfrey seems to be banned by regulatory authorities for internal use, thus, it would seem manufacturers such as Burts Bees are deleting comfrey from their product. To bad. It is a good product when used properly. I recently ordered a comfrey oil via Amazon from England, but it seems that product might disappear too.
