Gentle and effective
I love this product for our puppy. It’s good to know we’re using a gentle, more natural product whenever we need to bath him. The smell is wonderful and it rinses clean. I’m a lover of Burts Bees products.

Good Shampoo, no scent
We love this shampoo for the reason it is natural and my dog has sensitive skin so it works well on him. We wish it had more of a smell. The small smell it doe shave isn’t the best smelling.. It is a really good shampoo but if you want your dog to smell good we bought a different kind/brand that smelt really good and we alternate.
Best dog shampoo
We use this shampoo since my dog was a puppy. Occasionally I use it too. I love the no fragrance, no tear, natural ingredients. Better than a lot of human shampoo

OK product
This is the only shampoo I use for my little yorkie. However the product is on and off. One bottle it is too watery and doesnât foam and another bottle has a good consistency and foams, but overall it is a good product.
Makes my dogs coat shine
This lathers well, you need quite a bit for it to be effective cleaning but it leaves our pitbull mixâs coat shiny and soft. Sheâs not itchy from it and it doesnât seem to bother her eyes. No strong scent.

First of all some had leaked out in the package. Do not know why this would happen. So because I dont know how much was lost, I would consider buying it in a store next time. It has an easy pop open top and easy to maneuver in the hand. We decided to use the kitchen sink for the bathing. We got our 4.5 pound puppy sprayed wet first then we applied. It did not lather into bubbles which im fine with. And as others said we had to use more to get our dog covered. For soap to bubble you have you have to have chemicals in it. My dog is not a science project and so less is more for me. It also did not have a strong scent. That is again, fine with me. My dog does not need to be walking around smelling like a perfume bottle. Not good for me or him to breathe in toxic fumes. I kept the soap away from his eyes. Yes it SAYS tearless but it ALSO says keep out of eyes. After he was dry i didn’t notice a major difference. He seemed cleaner. His fur was not extremely soft but it seemed better. It also could be to do with our dogs hair. Plus we have not brushed him yet. Either way the results were nothing worth having a parade about.. He did scratch himself s couple times afterwards but that could be coincidence. Im going to keep using it until I find something more organic. What Is good is Its not filled with toxic waste, and its not stinky so its mostly a winner.
Iâve been using Burtâs Bees for a year on my two Pomâs and I am getting very good results. Also the package arrived properly done, avoiding spillage and loss of product.
I like the fact that this has mostly natural ingredients. You have to lather up a decent amount of shampoo though as it is quite runny. It doesnât smell but cleans dirt well and leaves my pup soft and shiny.
Item came damaged, and there is no possibility either to return or replace item.
Tengo dos border collie con piel muy seca y alergia a la mordedura de la pulga, aunque haya una pulga les provoca una comezón horrible, traté de todo hasta que encontré este shampoo, fue como magia desde la primer aplicación, la comezón se les redujo en un 95% ademas de que les brilla muchÃsimo el pelo y les queda super suave. Es obvio que al ser libre de sulfatos no va a generar tanta espuma y tampoco huele a nada, los perros quedan oliendo a limpio. Para los que esperan algún olor en especial seria conveniente que supieran que las fragancias causan alergias a los perros.
The Burtâs Bees 2-in-1 tearless shampoo and conditioner for puppies is overall a great product for the average dog owner. I own a cattle dog mix who is almost two years old. He has quite long and silky fur, a considerable amount of brush on his tail, and no undercoat. He doesnât have any skin allergies. I feel as though I do have to use quite a bit of the product to really clean him all over, but that may be because he has so much fur in some places.I donât bathe my dog often. Iâve only used this shampoo twice in the past 6 months (once when I first got him, and once for the coming of spring shedding). Itâs still about 3/4 filled, or a bit more. I know it should definitely last until the end of the year.It doesnât âlatherâ in the way you would expect a shampoo toâsince it has no sulfates, it doesnât foam up like most human shampoos do. However, a pet shampoo without sulfates is actually a great idea. Sulfates essentially help increase the effectiveness of the shampoo in cleaning dirt, oil, dead skin, and all that other junk. On the other hand, sulfates can be too powerful and strip away the natural proteins and oils from hair, which can cause irritation and damage. Your dogâs fur is their first line of defense, so you donât want to damage it! I would always recommend to go for a shampoo without sulfates, like this one.Iâm not sure about the other varieties of the Burtâs Bees for Dogs shampoos, but as for this one, when it says no fragrances, it means it. This has absolutely no scent. I noticed a couple of the other ones might smell like lavender or apple, but this one? Nothing. So after the bath, my dog just smells like wet dog until heâs dried. If that doesnât bother you, this one could be for you. If you want a more pleasant scent, maybe you could try another variety, like the calming shampoo? Regardless, the lack of scent doesnât change the effectiveness of the shampoo, and its scentlessness/lack of fragrances is great for sensitive dogs.I canât speak for all owners, such as those who bathe their dogs often or show them, but for an ordinary dog owner who just bathes their dogs a couple times a year, this one could be for you! For only $7.49, this lasts a long time and works tremendously well. My dog always gets compliments on his coat and Iâve been asked if I take him to the groomers. 🙂 All in all, itâs a bargain for a new puppy or dog owner.
