Fit fine, locks it…no complaints
1 notch and shorter depth
Solid lock. Works very well. My fault for not measuring the depth of the lock or noticing it only has one notch so you cannot remove the key in the unlocked position. That might be a benefit for others. I would have liked have a 2nd notch. Update: These locks are not 20 mm, they are more like 17 or 18 mm.
Good lock good price.
I am going to return it as it is a 180° turn lock which does not fit my application but the quality looks good..
Protecting truck boxes
Broke a regular key off in one of my locks and decided to buy two barrel key locks instead. Had to drill out rivets on both latches to remove the locks that were metric and slightly smaller than SAE models but all fit quite nicely and the key on this model of lock has to be in lock position to remove the key. Not a problem for me but can’t open one and then another with same key unless turned to lock position again. Lid can stay open until ready to close and lock.
