Simple but colourful animal puzzle for very young children
This wooden puzzle is designed for very young children (toddlers?) and contains large wooden pieces in the shapes of animals which a child needs to place in their correct indented spots on the background board. The colours of the parts are rich and attractive and younger children will enjoy this toy — but the older one gets, the more its simplicity will become boring which is why this is only recommended for very young children; ie: toddlers.
Canadian Animals Puzzle for Kids!!
I have been looking for the perfect activity/ toy to gift to someone who was visiting Canada and stumbled across this puzzle. The vibrant colours and large pieces are great for smaller children, and love that it includes all Canadian animals. Highly recommend this unique puzzle, as I have never come across a puzzle with Canadian animals only. Educational & fun!

Good intro to puzzles…Canadian, eh?
This Canadian animals puzzle is a good first introduction for the youngest of puzzlers, as it’s more of a matching game, exact picture to exact picture. Quality is good—the edges are smooth, no splinters or rough spots. The wood pieces are a good thickness, durable, comfortable for little hands to hold, and fit nicely into their own spaces on the board. The animals are very cartoony—I would have preferred more realistic images—but they’re kid-friendly, so I can see the value in that.
Adorably Canadian
This wooden puzzle themed like Canadian nature is adorable and well made. The images are crisp and the shapes fit perfectly in the slots. It’s not too complicated to use, great for babies/toddlers. I think the only thing that this puzzle is missing are little knobs for the child to hold while trying to move them around. The puzzle works fine without them, but I find that it takes a lot more coordination for a child to pick these up. The images are not overwhelming or overstimulating, but provide calming scenery.
