Pros: this was great for gifting for kids. Gifted to one of my nieces for their 3rd birthday and it is absolutely colourful and great for hand-eye coordination and for educational learning purposes to see which pieces fit in the puzzle, identifying different colors, sizes and shapes. 5/5 would definitely recommend :)Cons: No cons. The box was a bit heavy, but it made sense as these are wooden puzzle pieces.

Great puzzles
Purchased these for my newly 2 year old. He loves them. The peices are big enough for him to hold but small enough to work on fine motor movement (as opposed to peg puzzles. These ones you have to turn in your fingers). The puzzles fit nicely together while giving a little wiggle room as they learn to fit them all together. Seem durable as he does like to throw them as well!

Seems to be well made. Colourful. I rated only 3 stars for durability because only time will tell on that point. The puzzles are well made over all. I was pleasantly surprised.

Wooden Puzzles
Purchased for my 2 year old granddaughter, who found the puzzle fascinating, challenging and a lot of fun.

The colours and pictures are great but we found them too difficult for our little grandson to pull them out of the puzzle himself. He was able to place them in l, and I distinguish the individual shape and where it should go. The board itself if fairly thin and not sure how it would stand up to daily playing with.
I have a 3 year old that loves wood puzzles and has mastered the individual shape one’s we have at home so I tried these out to challenge her a bit. She took right to them and loves doing them over and over again. They are on the smaller side which is great for travel and storage. The butterfly and plane are the most frustrating/challenging for her because some of the shapes have to be just right but look similar (like the bottom parts of the butterfly wings for example). I see this as a good challenge for her and she only gets upset if she’s sleepy so if she’s playing with these puzzles close to sleep time I usually take those out of the mix and all is well. These are great for your toddler puzzle lover as a next step into more complex puzzling.
Pretty good puzzle set. They are definitely meant for older toddlers as there’s no helpful hints on the puzzle itself to help distinguish which piece goes where. What’s great about these is that it helps with visual and spatial awareness as the toddler has to match the puzzle pieces on the board via shape The puzzle quality is decent enough, its wood with painted pieces. Some pieces are painted better than others and some aren’t so quality control could be better. They seem to be well equipped to tolerate rough play as they’ve been thrown around quite a bit but have yet to show any chipping or breakage. Not bad at all.
These puzzles seem simple but they are not good for 1-2 year olds. There are many small pieces that must be in very precise locations and for example, two pieces will look almost identical yet cannot be interchanged. My son is almost 2 and excellent st puzzled and found these incredibly frustrating. Perhaps better for a 2. 5 or 3 year old. I don’t leave out due to small pieces, so I’ll pull out when he’s older and update my review. Definitely too small for a 1 year old.
I ordered this item to entertain my one year old son. The product is easy to use and suitable for his age. My favorite thing about the product is that it is made from wood like toys when I was a young boy.
