Cardinal Gates has been dedicated to making homes safer since 1993. Over the years, the company has expanded from the original Hearth Guard to a full line of safety gates for children and pets. We strongly believe our gates are the best on the market in terms of safety, ease of installation, attractiveness, and durability.
We produce the only aluminum gates on the market, which are lightweight and able to weather the elements for exterior use. Many of our gates are constructed entirely of metal-no plastic parts-for additional strength and durability. We design our products and own a variety of patents on our gates and safety pad. These products are carefully inspected by hand in Newnan, Georgia. This ensures that each gate meets our exceptionally high standards before we ship them out – we want them to reach their destination in as perfect condition as humanly possible. Additionally, all of our gates are rigorously tested to earn the seal of certification by the Juvenile Protection Manufacturers Association.

Easy to install, and it works
Wanted something to keep my growing puppy from getting any ideas about jumping the wall. My brother caught him sticking his head between the slats, which was my cue to do something about it.Was nice to find this fencing, which is the same colour as the revamped deck wall. The system comes with quite a few ties, in my case more than enough to connect them to the decking. I didnât want the wall to stand higher than the side walls, so I had to cut it in half â and that too was surprisingly easy. Almost a little too easy â was hard to cut evenly, which is my only complaint. Tied it on and voila â no more head poking. My dog is nonplussed but Iâm glad heâs safe from his own adventuresome nature.

Exactement tel que décrit. Nous l’avons installé sur le garde-corps de notre balcon au 6e étage pour prévenir les chutes de nos animaux de compagnie. Très robuste, mais se manipule bien lors de l’installation. Vient avec attaches en plastique. Parfait pour l’usage pour lequel nous l’avons acheté.

I wouldnât call this heavy duty, the mesh is pretty thin and breaks pretty easy, though I cut it in half for my purpose!

Not even the right product. Paid 50$ for a sheet of plastic. What a rip off.
I put a layer of this around my balcony so that my cats can go out on my balcony and be secure. It worked perfectly. It looks nice and stays neat and tight to the fence which it matches. They included plenty of zip ties to secure it and it took no time at all. My guys love it.

We looked all over for the right type of screening for outer balcony. Our Yorkie is so tiny that he could easily fit through the bars. This was so easy to install. It came with off-white zip ties, but we bought our own bag of white ones so it would match the railings, and we used extra to make it more sturdy. Itâs pretty firm when pulled taut and was easy to cut. We put a couple of plants to cover the edges, and weâre also going to put a few little flower pots at the bottom just for added protection. So far so good. He loves it out there, and I worry a little less about him being out there.UPDATE (5/19/2024): This has held up so well over the past four years. Itâs been very durable and has withstood several bad storms without a problem. It has allowed us to have peace of mind when our little guy is out on the balcony on his own. I highly recommend it.
