As someone with keratosis pilaris and occasional psoriasis flare-ups, I’ve struggled to find a gentle yet effective cleanser. This product has been a total game-changer!The Renewing SA Smoothing BHA Exfoliant is incredibly gentle, yet it effectively removes dead skin cells and smooths out rough patches. The addition of hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, vitamin D, and ceramides makes my skin feel soft, supple, and nourished.I love that it’s fragrance-free and microbead-free, making it perfect for sensitive skin. The 237ml size is generous, and the price point is very reasonable.I’ve noticed significant improvements in skin texture and tone since using this cleanser. My Favorite Body Wash Ever!
Surprisingly, this really moisturizes well. Iâve used it for over 2 years now. It slowed down my dry skin from itching and coming off like dust. Eww.its much smoother now. Itâs even helping with the bumpy patches on my upper arms. And itâs totally unscented.
Effective but use with caution if you have sensitive skin, especially on face and with actives
I bought this cleanser to help smoothing out rough bumpy skin. I’m 68 years old with sensitive normal skin.I’ve found it quite effective with smoothing out rough skin with regular use. However, I mostly use it on my body, only occasionally on the face with caution as my skin is somewhat sensitive.I found out that I cannot use this cleanser with followed by a Vitamin C serum which will result in stinging and a rash. I’ve not used it followed by a retinol for this reason. If your skin is sensitive, I would not recommend following it with most actives as they may be too irritating for your skin, especially on the face.

Right after using it, my skin felt cleaner than it does with the usual body washes Iâve tried. It wasnât just that squeaky clean feeling eitherâmy skin felt really fresh. I have normal skin that tends to get dry with harsher soaps, but this didnât dry me out at all, which is a huge win.One thing to note: it works best if you leave it on for a minute or two. That extra time lets the salicylic acid (SA) really do its thing, and I definitely noticed a difference when I let it sit.The only thing that left me a bit disappointed is that they donât list the percentage of SA in the product. Itâs not a dealbreaker, but it would be nice to know exactly what you’re working with.Overall, itâs a great cleanser if you’re looking for something that cleans well without stripping your skin.
