Oh this is my second review of this cream as Amazon lost my first. It is worth taking all this time to tell you about it, so you STOP LOOKING and wasting time with other products.I received this as a sample, and was shocked at how well it worked. So I finally bought it as it’s been out of stock.It is unscented, non greasy and it confounds me how it hydrates my dry patches of skin, but it does! It is just 2 days I am using it and I feel confident this will inevitably keep diminishing my dry patches over time.The O’Keefe’s Clinical Skin Relief was my first discovery and works miracles. It is smaller at 191ml vs the Cetaphil PRO Restoraderm at 295ml pump, for a lesser price. I would get both and keep them on hand. The Cetaphil I feel can be used safely on your face, or scalp or anywhere delicate and would not cause trouble or reactions. The O’Keefe’s is richer as a cream but also unscented and non greasy but you feel a slippery residue afterwards like wax perhaps. Nothing major.I would recommend you keep more than one on hand so you stay disciplined and are reminded to use it.In just 2 days, my patches look smaller. They are visible only in the light and are between my knuckles. After 2 years of dealing with this annoyance, I am finally getting results after 2 years of dealing with this.Now if it only came in tubs to soak your feet in!

It works for me!
Since the pandemic, like many people, my hands start to develop eczema due to heavy use of hand sanitizer and frequent washing of my hands. I started to develop itchy bumps and when scratch they become blisters so itchy!Although I do have psoriasis on one of my finger for many years and at times I will use the doctor prescribed steroid cream to soothe it. As much as I do not want to, I ended up using the same cream on my hands as nothing at the time solve my hands problem. But I want to stay away from the steroid cream as much as possible so I continue to search for a non-steroid cream. Gave a few other name brands a try but did not improve the situation until I purchase this product. At first I did not have much hope since I tried so many other cream already….to my surprise this actually work for me. My hands do not break out anymore and I put it on constantly the moment I feel that my hands are dried or when I feel a little bit of itch coming on.I also avoid using hand sanitizer as much as possible and purchase hand sanitizers that are more gentle. At the same time I purchase a low ph balance hand soap to wash my hands. I never use to put on gloves when I wash dishes and now I do and buy gloves that are for sensitive skin.I would say the combination of all these changes help with my hands problem and will continue to do so.

Good for dry skin not raw skin
I have Ezema. Extremely dry hands to the point where they look and feel raw, and my son has extremely dry hands but not as bad as mine. This cream works good on my son. Ive noticed his hands slowly getting better with each use. But he has mentioned that it sometimes burns a bit if he puts the lotion on after he washes his hands. Now for me, it burns, a lot. I’m unable to use it because of that. I’ve tried a few times but there is something in the cream that just stings the cuts on my hands and for that reason I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with Ezema raw like hands. Regular dry skin only.

This is the best eczema cream I’ve ever used – it’s miraculous stuff. You only need to apply a small amount, but it takes the heat and itchiness out of eczema more or less straight away, and after a couple of weeks’ use my eczema had more or less disappeared. There’s a trace left now which doesn’t itch at all, to which I apply a tiny amount of Cetaphil as more of a maintenance therapy to keep my eczema at bay. The only downside is that it’s quite pricey, but I couldn’t recommend it more!

I have been using this lotion along with the body wash on my baby boy since he was an infant. He is now 18 months old, and we still use it daily. My baby had eczema on his face and some on his body in the early months. I tried other moisturizers: Eucerin, Aquaphor which is totally greasy and made it worse, and Aveeno Baby Eczema Cream. The Restoraderm body wash and lotion were recommended by my pediatric dermatologist. We use both daily. The lotion is very rich and moisturizing without being too greasy. It works well with the body wash. The body wash is gentle with low foam and little smell.Since I use both the wash and the lotion, I cannot say definitively that this lotion eliminated my son’s eczema alone. I would not say it is a ‘cure’ for eczema, but it definitely improves the condition of the skin for faster healing. I do recommend using both in tandem. It seems that my son’s skin began to look healthier over time and today he rarely has any eczema outbreaks. His skin is nice and smooth now, especially on his cheeks. I am so glad we found this solution for us because I did not want to use steroidal creams on a daily basis. The prescription cream that we used sparingly and rarely was desonide. This lotion and body wash really made a difference and prevented us from having to rely solely on a steroid cream.The lotion and wash are sometimes hard to find in stores, and are very expensive when you do find them. If you use it on a regular basis and don’t have time to run around town searching for them, I recommend Amazon’s subscribe and save feature. Amazon’s price is the lowest I have found. If you are in a pinch, the Aveeno Baby Eczema Cream is a good alternative, but is a tad lighter although I do like the Aveeno on the face.As another reviewer noted, please test this product and any other product on your baby before slathering it all over to ensure there is no allergic reaction to the product. There is always the potential for the rare occurrence of an allergic reaction. I hope that this product works for the vast majority of babies/people. It definitely works for us!
