It’s a sheet of plastic with some adhesive on the sides. It could cost way less. When removing it it also took a while strip of paint off the door.It can be useful to keep fingers from getting mashed, but I would look for alternatives if you’re renting your place.

Waste of money. It does nothing for my curious and super active toddler. Two stars is because it sticks fine.

Simple protection.
Simple in its design. It’s a strip of clear plastic measuring exactly 120 cm x 17 cm. There is a two-sided adhesive tape running along the same side on both edges. There’s a plastic film protecting the strip during setup. Removing the plastic film reveals a clear transparent plastic strip. I like that the strip is clear and not foggy or yellow. The strip is flexible and bends easily. The adhesive tape is strong and stays in place once the tape is applied. I did find the strip gives off a plastic smell, but it is dissipating. Otherwise, get this to protect everyone.
It works for what you’d want it for
This is a very simplistic item, just a piece of plastic with 2 adhesive strips along the edges to attach it to the door frame/door. There is line along each of the adhesive strips that is designed to allow for easier bending of the plastic, so less stress is put on the adhesive through repeated openings/closings, which is a nice design feature. The adhesive itself seems strong enough, it’s the same kind of gel-like adhesive strips you often find on LED strip lights and works well.Overall, an effective though plain looking solution.
