Itâs perfect for any baby or small toddler, of course, but this bathtub is so carefully thought out with respect to a babyâs safety and comfort that itâs a must-have if your baby is for some reason difficult to bathe.When set up, this bathtub is very stable. If your baby is far too young to possibly be able to get out of it then you could place it on a table or counter to ease the strain on your back. This is especially nice if you are still recovering from having the baby. The white portions you see are made of a hard plastic but the grey partsthat touch your baby are made of silicone which is much more flexible and accommodating for a baby. What isnât shown in the pictures is that there are two white, hard plastic stabilizers/support bars which get mounted under the rim of the tub. The tub is therefore extremely rigid and stable but the silicon is still allowed its flex for folding the tub in half.I love the built-in thermometer. Get your perfect temperature to begin with and if your little one is having a nice time in the tub, the thermometer is right there to ensure the water isnât getting too cold. The drain plug also measures temperature changes colour at 102 degrees Fahrenheit.A supportive insert allows a baby to lie flat, recline very comfortably, or sit up without the support depending upon the age of the baby. This insert is so much more comfortable for the baby and so much easier on you, too, because your back wonât get sore and you wonât get cramped up or tired holding the infant in a safe position. Of course, NEVER leave a child of any age in water if you are not there and paying attention, but having two hands free can allow you increased possibilities for you to play with the baby so having a bath is more pleasant for everyone. The tub also has a convenient shower head holder. The drain is made of durable, soft silicone with easy- to-grab tabs.When your wee one has finished its bath you may collapse the tub to half its normal height and hang it on a hook in your shower or bathtub to drip and dry. Once the tub is collapsed and dry, itâs thin enough to be slid under your bed or sofa if you wanted to do that. Alternatively, you can unscrew the stabilizers so the tub can be folded after itâs collapsed. It may or may not fit somewhere better that way but itâs more convenient if you donât need to screw in the stabilizers every time you need the tub. If there is the possibility of another baby in the future, whether a human baby or a fur baby, the folded tub can easily be stored.Because this tub is grey, itâs gender-neutral and will be well accepted as a hand-me-down by any parent.This bathtub can also be handy for washing small pets ergonomically, especially a small dog with muddy little paws. If you are constantly washing your furry friendâs feet, you could get a sling like the groomers have so your pet will be well- secured and you could raise up the bathtub to the height of a counter to save yourself from back injury. With the right temperature of water, a sprayer, less struggle, and a more ergonomic position for you, washing your little doggy friend can be quicker, less stressful, and more enjoyable for both of you.I was going to give this bathtub 5 stars anyway, but the price on this one is unexpectedly low at $50 prior to any discounts or coupons. Other usually cost $60 so I would definitely recommend this bathtub from this seller.I hope this was helpful.
Perfect temperature every time
This is one nice baby bathtub with water temperature sensors making it so easy to have the perfect water temperature every time. It’s foldable so it’s easy to store away taking no place when not in use and also portable if your traveling.This baby bathtub is perfect in every aspect so don’t hesitate and go for it!
Works great! Does all that it should — except for having a carrying case.
This is a terrific foldable bath and it does everything that it is supposed to do. It does them all very well. It has lots of bells and whistles and makes me very very happy to use at home. Especially the temperature sensing component, which I love.However, it is advertised as for travel and that’s much of the reason that I ordered it. It is foldable, yes. It is compact, yes. It is lightweight, yes. But to be truly portable for travel, it ought to have a simple carrying case at least. Even a little zippered bag or something to make it easy to pack and carry would be awesome. But it has nothing of the sort.So, it loses a star for not being truly portable for travel purposes in my book.
Cute, and Unique
This bath set is everything you need for your newborn or older baby.I have tested a couple in the past and this one stands out just for one simple thing. It’s included bath pad for newborns.The bath pad feels a lot more secure, and is longer almost covering the entire bath.The only downside I found to a bath pad this style is it did make it a tad bit harder to get your hand down there with a clothe to collect some of the water to wash baby. It wasn’t impossible or anything but of course there was less room.When it comes to the rest of the tub, its like most baths you see on the market. Plastic with some rubbered material to be able to collapse the the bath down and store it.The temperature gauge was completely accurate, and the tub did not let even a drip of water leak through its plug.Personally I can really recommend the tub. The bathmat really beats the traditional everyday ones you get, The bear decals were cute and I really liked them. It collapsed down and stored away easily.
